Antibody to hepatitis B surface antigen

Hepatitis B Infection is an occupational high risk factor. Immune response for vaccination was measured by Antibody to Hepatitis B surface antigen (anti HBs) levels. A course of Hep B vaccine yields a protective immune response (anti-HBs ≥10 mIU/mL) this study was designed to determine the anti HBs levels in Health Care Workers (HCWs) working as laboratory technician and staff nurses.

Bệnh nhân là một thanh niên người Việt tới khám bệnh từ gần 10 năm. Lúc đó có bệnh nhân có tiểu sử biết mình bị viêm gan B từ 2 năm qua. Thử nghiệm lại viêm gan ngày 4/2/1999, cho thấy bệnh nhân có dương tính HBsAg (Hepatitis B surface antigen), dương tính ANTI-HBC (Hepatitis B Core Antibody). Thử nghiệm chức năng gan cho thấy tất cả đều bình thường kể cả phân hóa tố gan AST/SGOT và ALT/SGPT. Hồi đó chưa có thử nghiệm đếm siêu vi trùng viêm gan B DNA. Thử nghiêm lại chức năng...
