This study presents an innovative method for the selection and design of magnetic cores for DC-DC converters. In contrast to conventional approaches that rely on the Area Product (U`) and involve extensive trial and error, our proposed methodology employs two main key parameters: the Core to Copper Loss Ratio (γ) and the Window Utilization Factor (rd) during the inductor design process.

The study was carried out in rabi seasons in tribal area in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh during 2010-11 and 2011-12 for JG-16 variety and 2009-10 and 2012-13 for JG-11 variety of chickpea. The improved technologies consisting use of modern variety, seed treatment with rhizobium and PSB culture, balanced fertilizer application and integrated pest management. FLD recorded higher yield as compared to farmer’s local practice.

An investigation was carried out at All India Co-ordinated Research Project on Micro and Secondary Nutrients and Pollutant Elements in Soils and Plants under Department of Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, Maharashtra to assess the chemical properties, available sulphur and micronutrients status in soils of Jalgaon district in the year 2017-18. GPS based 480 soil samples (0-20 cm) from 15 tehsils in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra at 5 km grid were collected and analysed in the laboratory.

The research study was conducted on impact of training programme on knowledge, perception and attitude of stakeholders towards Bhoochetana programme. The Raichur, Koppal and Bellary districts were purposively selected based on their maximum area under groundnut cultivation. The random sampling procedure is being used to identify 180 beneficiaries. The ex-post –facto research design used for the study. It was observed that 45.56 per cent of the beneficiaries belonged to medium knowledge category followed by low (27.78 %) and high (26.67 %) categories.

Blackgram is a major kharif pulse crop in Kota district of Rajasthan, which covers more than 25 percent acreage of kharif sown area of the district. However, average yield of the district varying between 5-7.25 q ha-1 which can be enhanced up to 10 q ha-1 or more by the adoption of new varieties and recommended agro-techniques. To demonstrate improved production technologies, cluster front-line demonstrations were conducted on blackgram crop by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kota, during kharif 2016 to 2018 on 260 farmer fields of the district.

This preliminary study shows an innovative concept of searching for peat substitutes on basis of renewable raw materials considering the cultivation in extensive land use in Lower Saxony (Germany). Selecting suitable raw material plants against the background of ecological , social and economic issues followed by testing series including those materials should lead on to reliable results for a planned transition through a spatial analysis of potential areas for cultivation with a specific attention on wetlands.

The interaction of metal oxide nanoparticles with plants has not been extensively studied. An attempt has been made to examine the potential variation in peanut plant leaves due to the application of Fe2O3 nanoparticle by pre-sowing technique and to compare with its bulk counterpart. Fe2O3 nanoparticle was synthesized by chemical route and characterized using X-ray diffraction, atomic force and scanning electron microscopy. The Fe2O3 nanoparticle and its bulk counterpart are applied to the peanut seeds by pre-soaking method at two different concentrations: 500 and 4000 ppm.

Hydrogel products constitute a group of polymeric materials, the hydrophilic structure of which renders them capable of holding large amounts of water in their three-dimensional networks. Extensive employment of these products in a number of industrial and environmental areas of application is considered to be of prime importance.
