Nghiên cứu được thực hiện nhằm xác định hàm lượng polyphenol tổng số, hoạt tính chống oxy hóa và kháng khuẩn của dịch chiết từ các loài thảo dược gồm cúc hoa vàng (Chrysanthemum indicum), hoàng kỳ (Astragalus membranaceus Bge), kim ngân (Lonicera japonica Thumb), xuyên tâm liên (Andrographis paniculata), lô hội (Aloe vera), cam thảo (Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch), cỏ hương bài (Vetiveria zizanioides L. Nash), tô mộc (Caesalpinia sappan), hoàng liên (Coptis chinensis Franch.) và sài đất (Wedelia chinensis Osb. Merr).

Trong nghiên cứu thử nghiệm đối với ba loại chiết xuất từ thảo dược (Houttuynia cordata, Polygonum cuspidatum và Astragalus spp.) nhằm khảo sát khả năng ảnh hưởng đến sự biểu hiện gen trên tế bào GK của cá mú bông. Thí nghiệm được tiến hành với 3 nồng khác nhau ở thảo dược Houttuynia cordata và Polygonum cuspidatum (1μL; 5μL và 10μL), 2 nồng độ với Astragalus spp..

The flora of the Elmali Cedar Research Forest (Antalya) was investigated. From the research area, 1296 samples were collected between September 2000 and September 2002. Of the 1296 samples, 83 represent families, 320 represent genera and 689 represent species that have been identified.

The vascular flora of the Karagöl-Sahara National Park and its environs (fiavflat, Artvin, Turkey) was assessed between 1997 and 2002. In the area under review, 872 taxa belonging to 364 genera and 91 families were identified. Of the 872 taxa, 21 Pteridophytes and 851 Spermatophytes were detected. Spermatophytes also contained 7 Gymnospermae and 844 Angiospermae taxa.

This research was carried out in 2002 and 2003 in order to determine the flora of Kalecik Mountain. The research area is situated in fianliurfa province and within C7 of the grid system. In the area, 238 taxa belonging to 39 families, and 140 genera, were determined. Of all the collected specimens, 28 taxa are new records for C7, and 13 (5.46%) taxa are endemic for Turkey.

Astragalus crassispinus Bunge and Astragalus nigrolineatus Sirj. & Rech.f. are new records from Iran. They belong to the sections Anthylloidei DC. and Dissitiflori DC. These species were endemic to Afghanistan.

The section used to contain 20 taxa in Turkey, but in this study it has been reduced to 15. A new species (Astragalus dumanii Ekici & Aytaç) has been described. In addition, we concluded that A. vuralii H.Duman & Aytaç, A. cylindraceus DC., A. alindanus Boiss., A. paecilanthus Boiss. & Heldr. and A. squalidus Boiss. & Noë are synonyms of A andrasovszkyi Bornm., A. globosus Vahl, A. hirsutus Vahl, A. sibthorpianus Boiss. and A. amoenus Fenzl respectively. The pollen grains are tricolporate, prolate, subprolate or prolate sphaeroidal and the ornamentation is reticulate.

This study concerns the flora of the northern part of the Emirdag nountains. According to Davis’s grid system, the research area lies in B3 square. Four hundred and ninety-five taxa belonging to 279 genera and 70 families were found after the identification of 754 plant specimens collected from the research area. Forty-seven taxa are new records for the B3 grid square.

This paper describes a floristic study on Kirmir valley, between Güdül and Yeflilöz district, in Ankara province. The study was carried out during 2000-2003 and 1040 vascular plant specimens were collected. Four hundred and forty-eight wild taxa belonging to 266 genera and 74 families were determined.

This study was carried out to determine the flora of Kumalar Mountain (Afyon) which is located in the transition zone between the Aegean and Central Anatolia. After the evaluation of 2204 plant specimens collected from the research area between 1996 and 2001, 89 families, 388 genera and 898 taxa were identified.

Efficient micropropagation and root culture protocols were developed for the endemic Astragalus chrysochlorus Boiss. & Kotschy. A high frequency of shoot formation (100%) and maximum multiplication (13 shoots per hypocotyl explant) were achieved on Murashige and Skoog (MS) media supplemented with 0.5 mg/L trans-Zeatin riboside (ZR).

The pollen morphology of 45 specimens of 29 species of the genus Astragalus L. of the section Onobrychoidei DC. distributed in Turkey was studied with light and electron microscopies. The pollen is generally 3-colporate. Pollen of the section is prolate, subprolate, and prolate-spheroidal. Size varies, with the polar axis ranging from 23.4 to 42.6 μm and the equatorial axis from 14.3 to 36.4 μm.

This paper presents a floristic study of Pirreflit Mountain. The research was carried out in 1997 and 1998, and 3500 vascular plant specimens were collected. After the identification of the specimens, the flora was determined as 820 taxa (at specific and infraspecific ranks) belonging to 767 species, 309 genera, and 65 families.

This paper describes a floristic study of Akçada¤. The research was carried out between 2000 and 2002. During the study period, 2650 vascular plant specimens were collected. After the identification of the specimens, the flora was determined to include 891 taxa (at specific and intraspecific ranks) belonging to 738 species, 328 genera, and 70 families.

The present results revealed that sections Onobrychoidei DC. and Ornithopodium Bunge are interrelated taxa and form a single monophyletic group. The current status of section Dissitiflori DC. is a nonmonophyletic group. Its members form several subclades and unresolved branches across the tree. Sections Erioceras Bunge and Cytisodes Bunge as well as Corethrum Bunge are sister taxa and form weakly to highly supported monophyletic groups, respectively.

Astragalus yukselii Karaman & Aytaç (Leguminosae) is described as a new species and illustrated. The species is distributed near the town of Hadim in Konya Province (South Anatolia). Diagnostic morphological characters useful in discriminating the new species from its close relatives, A. isauricus Hub.-Mor. & V.A.Matthews and A. karjaginii (Boriss.) Boriss., are explained. Both species clearly belong to Astragalus L. sect. Macrophyllium Boiss.

Astragalus topalanense Behçet & İlçim sp. nov. (section Malacothrix Bunge) is described as a new species from Bingöl Province, East Anatolia in Turkey. The new species is similar to Astragalus macrouroides Hub.-Mor., a species endemic to Turkey, and A. macrourus Fisch. & C.A.Mey. The diagnostic characters and taxonomic comments on the species are presented.
