Barriers to improving energy efficiency
-
This paper aims to understand the farm-level barriers and opportunities to greater energy efficiency in the Australian agricultural sector. Using a mixed methods approach informed by social practice theory, we detail the experiences of 12 farmers who received an energy audit and energy use feedback dashboard (eco-feedback) through government-supported energy efficiency initiatives.

This work aims to examine the barriers to improving energy efficiency as encountered by Energy Services Companies (ESCOs) in Jordan, based on seven theoretical models and a comprehensive survey. This paper employs a quantitative methodology based on a statistical survey of ESCOs in Jordan during 2018.

The industrial sector is consuming 35% of the total energy production in Pakistan. Furthermore, many emphases are given in this domain during the past few decades. Energy crises have incredibly influenced the industrial sector which affects the country’s economy directly. Electricity saving is possible in the industrial sector by using techniques of energy management (EM). By using this technique, we can save enough energy that will offer financial and conservational help in upcoming.

In this paper, we report the synthesis of rGO-TiO2 nanocomposite electrode and its effect on the performance of DSCs. The nanocomposite rGO-TiO2 photoelectrode was examined by means of current-voltage (I-V) characteristics of the solar cell when illuminated and in the dark. The results indicate that, unlike the Nb2O5 that forms an energy barrier at the surface and SrTiO3 that shifts the conduction band of the TiO2 in the negative direction, rGO doping allows more dye to be adsorbed due its large surface area thus improving the light harvesting efficiency (LHE).

Environment degradation is a global issue for which every individual or entity has to play their role. For an organization there are several ways by which their contribution to the environment can be improved. For said purpose, the present study was conducted in which the role of green innovation, environment proactiveness and environment management accounting was studied on environment performance and energy efficiency. Moreover, to meet the goal, the present study employs quantitative research approach where data was collected from 367 respondents and PLS-SEM was employed.
