Global competition has intensified geographic repositioning of supply chain activities with implications for the economic prosperity of specific regions and geographies affected by such shifts. This study examines the relationship between the level of corruption and economic growth using the supply chain and ARDL bounds test method. The data used are GDP, the level of corruption, foreign direct investment, government spending and inflation from 2000-2018. The results of the study indicate a negative and significant impact on the level of corruption on economic growth in the long run.

This study casts light on the use of five inflectional morphemes, namely progressive/ present participle -ing, plural -s, past tense -ed (for both regular and irregular verbs), past participle -en and third-person -s by three candidates at three different band levels in the IELTS Speaking test. The candidates were to take part in a simulated IELTS Speaking test, and their performances were transcribed verbatim to calculate the error rate and overuse errors of the five morphemes.

This paper investigates the effect of financial development to economic growth in Vietnam for the period 1990 – 2017. Using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) Bounds test approach, we find that financial development has a long-run positive impact on the growth of economic. Besides, the error correction model indicates that although there exists the disequilibrium in the relationship between financial development and economic growth in the short-run, the economy will converge back to the longrun equilibrium in the current year.

An extraction method was tested for biomonitoring the biofilm samples containing heavy metals. The fractionation of metal complexes was performed via C-18-HPLC-ICP-MS and MALDI-MS, respectively. The extraction power of some reagents was determined for the heavy metal extraction from biofilm samples collected in Erdemli coast in the Mediterranean Sea. The ammonium acetate solution giving the highest extraction results was found as a suitable extraction reagent. The concentration and pH of the ammonium acetate solution were optimized and found as 1 M and 5, respectively.

This paper examines this issue in the case of Vietnam by applying the bounds testing (ARDL) approach to cointegration for the period from 1990 to 2017. ARDL approach is used to along with ECM to find out the long run relationship and short-run dynamics between the selected variables. The empirical results indicate a strong relationship between FDI and economic growth in Vietnam.

The paper deals with the robust state bounding estimation problem of stochastic control systems with discrete time Markovian jump. By using Lyapunov functional method and probability theory, we propose new sufficient conditions to guarantee robust state boundedness for the stochastic control systems. The conditions are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which is simple and convenient for testing and application.

This research probes the role of economic growth, trade openness, and oil price on government consumption growth to verify the type of cyclicality in Saudi Arabia from 1971 to 2018. The cointegration test of Pesaran (2001) is utilized to test the cyclicality hypothesis with augmented critical bound statistics developed by Kripfganz and Schneider (2019). We corroborate the long and short-run relationships in the fiscal model of Saudi Arabia. Further, procyclicality is proved in the long run and countercyclicality is corroborated in the short run with a 1-year lag effect.

The nexus between oil price and exchange rate for Bangladesh economy by using annual data covering from 1980 to 2018. Given the stationarity properties, the Johansen cointegration and the ARDL bounds cointegration tests find a long-run cointegrating relationship between the variables. We reveal that oil price granger causes exchange rate in the long-run but not in the short-run. According to DOLS and DARDL methods, an increase in oil price appreciates exchange rate by 0.40% and 0.30%.
