The estimates of genotypic correlation coefficients in general were higher than their corresponding phenotypic correlation coefficients indicating strong inherent association among the traits. The seed yield per plant had significant and positive association with number of primary branches plant-1, number of secondary branches plant-1 , number of pods plant-1 , number of seeds plant-1 , biological yield plant-1 , seed yield (kg/ha) harvest index and 100-seed weight at both genotypic as well as phenotypic levels.

The task of the thesis: Synthesis of new derivatives of indenoisoquinoline is based on changes in B ring groups by modifying branching atoms of nitrogen atom and binding of triazole-containing hybrid compounds. Synthesis of new derivatives of indenoisoquinoline based on the change of substituents in D ring with metoxyl groups or methylendioxy. Simultaneously change the substituents on B ring through the triazole bridge by click reaction.

Protein synthesis requires both amino acids, as precursors, and a substantial amount of metabolic energy. It is well established that starvation or lack of nutrients impairs pro-tein synthesis in mammalian cells and tissues. Branched chain amino acids are particularly effective in promoting protein synthesis. Recent work has revealed important new information about the mechanisms involved in these effects. Anumber of components of the translational machinery are regulated through signalling events that require the mam-malian target of rapamycin, mTOR. ...

The currently applied reaction structure in stoichiometric flux balance mod-els for the nonoxidative branch of the pentose phosphate pathway is not in accordance with the established ping-pong kinetic mechanism of the enzymes transketolase (EC 2.2.1.1) and transaldolase (EC 2.2.1.2). Based upon the ping-pong mechanism, the traditional reactions of the nonoxida-tive branch of the pentose phosphate pathway are replaced by metabolite specific, reversible, glycolaldehyde moiety (C2 ) and dihydroxyacetone moi-ety (C3) fragments producing and consuming half-reactions. ...

The discovery of prion disease and the establishment of the protein only hypothesis of prion propagation raised substantial interest in the class of maladies referred to as conformational diseases. Although significant pro-gress has been made in elucidating the mechanisms of polymerization for several amyloidogenic proteins and peptides linked to conformational dis-

The M-superfamily of conotoxins has a typical Cys framework (-CC-C-C-CC-), and is one of the eight major superfamilies found in the venom of the cone snail. Depending on the number of residues located in the last Cys loop (between Cys4 and Cys5), the M-superfamily family can be divi-ded into four branches,

Glycosylation is one of the most common post-translational modifications, and approximately 50% of all proteins are presumed to be glycosylated in eukaryotes. Branched N-glycans, such as bisecting GlcNAc,b-1,6-GlcNAc and core fucose (a-1,6-fucose), are enzymatic products of N-acetylglucos-aminyltransferase III,N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase V and a-1,6-fucosyl-transferase, respectively.

Acetohydroxyacid synthase (AHAS; EC 2.2.1.6) is the first enzyme in the biosynthetic pathway of the branched-chain amino acids. It catalyzes the conversion of two molecules of pyruvate into 2-acetolactate or one mole-cule of pyruvate and one molecule of 2-ketobutyrate into 2-aceto-2-hydrox-ybutyrate.

ATP, via purinergic P2X receptors, acts as a neurotransmitter and modula-tor in both the central and peripheral nervous systems, and is also involved in many biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis. Previously, we have reported that P2X7 receptor inhibition promotes axonal growth and branching in cultured hippocampal neurons.

Methanosarcina mazeiis a methanogenic archaeon that is able to thrive on various substrates and therefore contains a variety of redox-active proteins involved in both cytoplasmic and membrane-bound electron transport. The organism possesses a complex branched respiratory chain that has the abil-ity to utilize different electron donors.

Organisms subject to changing environmental conditions or experimental protocols show complex patterns of responses. The design principles behind these patterns are still poorly understood. Here, modular metabolic control analysis is developed to deal with large changes in branched pathways.

Geometry is a branch of mathematics related research space. Using experience, or perhaps by intuition, it is recognized by the space fundamental characteristics, the geometric axioms called the system. Axiomatic system including the original concept is not defined and the axioms (also known as the proposition) does not prove a relationship defined between the concepts.
