This study is to evaluate the precision of some new global Earth Gravitational Models in the East Vietnam Sea, selecting the best model. The method and the program for calculating Free air gravity anomaly from the global earth gravitational model have been researched and developed. Evaluation of the precision of the models is done by comparing the models with ship-derived gravity anomalies. Data with anomalous signs are detected and removed when the deviation exceeds three times the root mean square deviation.

A benzothiazolium-derived colorimetric and fluorescent chemosensor (L) for detection of mercury ions has been prepared. The detection limits of the colorimetric and fluorescent method for mercury ions are 15.3 and 11.8 ppb, respectively, much lower than the reported chemosensors based on similar derivatives of benzothiazolium.

Eukaryotic genomes are composed of isochores, i.e. long sequences relat-ively homogeneous in GC content. In this paper, the isochore structure of Arabidopsis thalianagenome has been studied using a windowless technique based on theZcurve method and intuitive curves are drawn for all the five chromosomes. Using these curves, we can calculate the GC content at any resolution, even at the base level.
