Evaluation of new different fungicides, using the susceptible maize genotype CM-202 for the management of turcicum leaf blight caused by Exserohilum turcicum revealed that the combi products Azoxystrobin 18.2% + Difenoconazole 11.4% SC @ 0.250 ml /liter was found more effective in reducing the severity of disease followed by Azoxystrobin 18.2% + Difenoconazole 11.4%) SC @ 0.125 ml /liter were found effective in reducing the disease severity and also contributed for higher grain yield and The treatment which received a foliar spray of systemic fungicide Tebuconazole 250 EC @ 1.

A field experiment was conducted at Agricultural College Farm, Bapatla to test the efficacy of some recommended insecticides and fungicides as a tank mix application. Two insecticidal treatments (chlorantraniliprole @ 0.3 ml l-1 and chlorpyriphos @ 2.5 ml l-1 ) and two fungicidal treatments (tricyclazole @ 0.6 g l-1 and isoprothiolane @ 1.5 ml l-1 ) with an untreated control were replicated thrice in a simple randomized block design. The results showed that all the insecticide and fungicide treatments alone and in combination were found superior over untreated check.

Field experiment was conducted during 2015 and 2016 to find out effective chemical management strategy against one most common disease of Chilli, which occurred throughout the year, i.e., Cercospora leaf spot. Among the six different fungicides treatments tested for spraying. All the treatments showed significantly different results than check. Lowest disease severity was found in Pyraclostrobin + Tebuconazole (Double application) (7.85%).

Tomato crop is attacked by several pathogens during its cropping season. The present study was undertaken to mitigate the disease incidence using Taqat 75% WP during the year 2016-17 and 2017-18. Assessment of the disease severity was done by standard scoring methods and expressed as Per cent Disease Index (PDI). For phytotoxicity of Taqat 75%WP at X dose 750g/ha, 2X dose 1500g/ha and 4X doses 3000g/ha along with the standard check treatments.

An experiment was conducted using 18 F4 progenies of tomato along with two bacterial wilt resistant varieties as checks (Palam Pink and Palam Pride) to determine the interrelationship among component traits and their direct and indirect contribution on marketable fruit yield. The trial was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications at Vegetable Research Farm, Department of Vegetable Science and Floriculture, CSK HPKV, Palampur during summer-rainy season of 2016.

This paper presents an analysis of digital television broadcasting, that used DVB-T2 standard, in Bangkok Thailand. The result of analysis has derived from signal measurement 20 location in Bangkok. The measurement location consists of several difference areas such as an urban area, high building area, open area. The measurement’s result are consists of signal strength, C/N, MER, SNR, NsMAR, bBER, LBER, power output after combiner. Intensive screening of black pepper germplasm through artificial inoculation was done at ICAR-Indian Institute of Spices Research, Kozhikode, (Kerala, India) to locate sources of resistance against Phytophthora foot rot incited by Phytophthora capsici Leon. adopting conventional stem and leaf inoculation procedure. The intact stem and leaf of 3-4 leaf stage rooted plants were inoculated and incubated for 72h at a temperature of 25 –28° C with a relative humidity of 80 – 90% for development of symptoms.

The present study was aimed to construct, develop and standardize a Knowledge Scale on Hygiene. After going through several related literature, the researcher outlined a scale and after analyzing, the content framed 90 items related to the course. The prepared 90 items were revised and edited carefully and then given to a panel of experts in the field of health, hygiene and extension specialist for their valuable suggestions and corrections to ensure its quality. Thus the content validity of the tool was established. After seeking the opinion of the experts some of the items were reframed.

Chilli leaf curl disease is a serious threat to summer crop of chilli in South India causing economic yield losses. Therefore, development of chilli hybrids having leaf curl tolerance and high yield is the present need in chilli growing regions.
