Keeping poultry makes a substantial contribution to household food security throughout the developing world. It helps diversify incomes and provides quality food, energy, fertilizer and a renewable asset in over 80 percent of rural households. This paper investigates an aspect of using iris recognition to authenticate a biometric passport. For this kind of authentication, two citizen’s iris will be captured and stored on a RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) chip within two other biometrics: face and fingerprint. This chip is integrated into the cover of a passport, called a biometric passport. By using the iris recognition, a process of biometric passport authentication was presented in this paper by using the extended acces control, and allows integrate the verification result of the iris, face and fingerprint recognition.

Rural water supply and sanitation is one of major programs for rural development applied not only in Vietnam but also in other developing countries. However, due to poor income and low knowledge conditions, the numbers of farmers achieve this are not so high. Currently, there is a little documentation in Vietnamese concerning toilet design have been found in bookstores and libraries although this is a real need, special for rural areas. For this purpose, a rural toilet design manual was just written in the College of Technology (CoT), CanTho University (CTU).
