Optimum Flight Trajectories for Terrain Collision AvoidanceThe objective of this research is to introduce a new methodology that computes optimal escape trajectories within a three dimensional digital terrain. It has been established that conducting a pull up manoeuvre may not always be the best option for a pilot to salvage the aircraft in the case of an imminent collision. To prove this further, several simulations were conducted which shows that performing a lateral turn can produce safer trajectories in comparison to a vertical pull up.

In this paper, we analyze the performance of different node density of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) operating under the IEEE Standard 802.15.4 in the beacon-enabled mode. The motivation for evaluating the beacon-enabled mode is due to its flexibility for WSN applications as compared to the nonbeacon enabled mode. In this study, we present an integrated navigation system for the autonomous mobile robot in the dynamic environment by incorporating the techniques proposed in our previous studies, including object detection and tracking system, localization system and motion planning system, into a completed navigation system. In addition, we propose an extended timed elastic band (ETEB) technique for online trajectory planning, which allows the mobile robot to proactively avoid obstacles in the surrounding environment.

This paper describes a novel reactive obstacle avoidance approach for mobile robot navigation in unknown and dynamic environment. This approach is developed based on the “situated-activity paradigm” and a “divide and conquer” strategy which steers the robot to move among unknown obstacles and towards a target without collision.

This paper deals with the collision avoidance radar based antenna performance characteristics. This antenna can be placed inside the vehicle and it receives the signals from the base station and warns the driver accordingly. If any accident occurs to that vehicle, then that information is also passes to substation for help.
