Cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata) is popular worldwide for consumption as a leafy vegetable. Premature flowering is triggered by low temperature, and deteriorates quality of cabbage as vegetable. In general, growers prefer late-flowering varieties to assure good quality compact head.

One of the major passive components, which affected the performance of broadband RF/microwave communication systems, is the diplexers. This paper presents a new approach for designing a high selectivity diplexer, which is based on compact and high unloaded quality factor hybrid coaxial and microstrip resonator bandpass filters (BPFs).

An image analysis technique is well suited for the collection of data concerning the shape and size of the seeds. Such morphological data is often used for establishing the distinctness of new varieties. Seed morphometric characters like seed length, breadth, length to breadth ratio (seed shape) and thousand seed weight were determined for hundred rice genotypes by using Biovis image analyser.

Conservation agriculture (CA) is based on principles of minimum soil disturbance through zero or minimum tillage operations, residue retention on soil surface and crop diversification which not only improves healthy functioning of soil but also enhances nutrient availability, its biological quality and aggregate formation. On the other hand, conventional tillage (CT) practices characterized by excessive tillage, residue removal and monoculture are often associated with the degradation of soil mainly in terms of depletion of Soil Organi arbon (SOC), sub-soil compaction and loss of biodiversity.

The squareness factor γ, defined as the ratio BHc/iHc, plays very importance role. This factor reflects the magnetization process under a reversed magnetic field in magnet. So the factor γ can be used as the critical parameter for estimating the magnet quality. For the powder compaction of 6.48 g/cm3 mass density, if γ is less than 0.48 then the preparation conditions were far from the optimal ones. The value higher than 0.48 of factor γ proves that in prepared powder the coupling between grains is enhanced.

Qualitative risk assessment methods are often used as the first step to determining design space boundaries; however, quantitative assessments of risk with respect to the design space, i.e., calculating the probability of failure for a given severity, are needed to fully characterize design space boundaries. Quantitative risk assessment methods in design and operational spaces are a significant aid to evaluating proposed design space boundaries.

Following the industrial revolution in the nineteenth century, agricultural machinery and tractors became available for tillage operations. Different types of tillage systems have different tillage depths and capacity to change soil physical properties that affect the crop yield and quality. Important soil physical properties such as bulk density, penetration resistance, water infiltration, hydraulic conductivity and soil compaction are affected by tillage.
