This article develops an approach to forming innovative development clusters in Kazakhstan’s chemical industry as an opportunity to promote the effectiveness of the sector’s development and to increase its competitive advantage based on the supply chain management. An expert evaluation method is used to form a system of indicators for assessing innovative development in the country’s regional chemical industry.

The finding of this literature study is elaboration the linkage of three components of the cluster system as a gap to overcome the institutional barriers and economic evaluation determinant of the region in Agro-industrial supply chain management and provide institutional innovation as one of large synergetic effect. The production of high value added of product in the existence of value chain indicated that supply chain management concepts has successfully been implemented within the cluster management system.

The purpose of our research is to study the existing problems in the food supply chain management and to propose a decision-making algorithm for efficient and competitive business development. The study and generalization of theoretical studies in the field of food supply chain management allowed us to identify and formulate the specifics of this industry with the help of the following research methods: selection of logistics intermediaries, forecasting (indicators, flows, etc.), arrangement of nomenclature groups, optimization under risk conditions, statistical methods in data processing.

Global competition has intensified geographic repositioning of supply chain activities with implications for the economic prosperity of specific regions and geographies affected by such shifts. This study examines the relationship between the level of corruption and economic growth using the supply chain and ARDL bounds test method. The data used are GDP, the level of corruption, foreign direct investment, government spending and inflation from 2000-2018. The results of the study indicate a negative and significant impact on the level of corruption on economic growth in the long run.

In the context of a need to expand the export potential of greenhouse vegetables of Uzbekistan, the goal of this research was to develop an approach to determining development strategies for greenhouse businesses in Uzbekistan on the international vegetable market. By means of correlation and regression analysis and a method of expert assessment, a system of indicators has been determined that quantitatively and qualitatively defines the competitiveness of Uzbek greenhouse businesses on the international vegetable market.

This study examines the application of BOS in Malaysian manufacturing firms and its relationship with innovation performance. Data were collected using a questionnaire survey from respondents working in medium-sized manufacturing firms. The results revealed that the companies are applying this strategy to assist them in creating a competitive advantage. Furthermore, the findings indicate that there is a weak association between BOS and innovation performance.

CO2 adsorption capacities of activated carbon-based adsorbents subjected to different treatments, such as HNO3 oxidation, air oxidation, alkali impregnation, and heat treatment under helium gas atmosphere, were determined by gravimetric analyses and reported previously by our group. The results have indicated that: (1) Communication crisis has negative relationship with consumer’s attitude, for example, consumers have strongly objected and boycotted Vietjet Air; (2) Crisis management has positively influenced consumer’s attitude; (3) Consumer’s attitude has a positive relationship with purchase intention; (4) communication crisis has many consequences namely “lose faith from consumer and community”, “decrease the firm’s competitiveness”, “lead to a boycott from the consumers”.

This study uses multidimensional scale (MDS) and ALSCAL tool based on provincial competitiveness index to explore the differences among Vietnam localities. Then a perceptual map is formed to recognize the current locations of each province or city in investors’ mind. The findings show that two indices groups building differentiation of Danang include: 1st factor – entry cost and proactivity, 2nd factor – land access and time costs. Some implications are given for Danang in positioning the city brand image based on differentiation.
