In this work "An application of Razumikhin theorem to exponential stability for linear non-autonomous systems with time-varying delay", in the light of the Razumikhin stability theorem combined with the Newton–Leibniz formula, a new delay-dependent exponential stability condition is first derived for linear non-autonomous time delay systems without using model transformation and bounding techniques on the derivative of the time-varying delay function. The condition is presented in terms of the solution of Riccati differential equations.

This paper "Delay-Dependent Exponential Stability of Linear Systems with Fast Time-Varying Delay" presents new exponential stability conditions for a class of linear systems with time-varying delay. Unlike the previous works, the delay function considered in this paper is time-varying without any requirement on the derivative, which means that a fast time-varying delay is allowed.

The changes in the main structural, functional, fluorescent, and cytometric indicators of diatom microalgae Phaeodactylum tricornutum (Bohlin, 1897), Nitzschia sp., and Skeletonema costatum (Cleve, 1873) under different light growth conditions were analyzed; the potential of their application as possible indicators for monitoring algae physiological state was evaluated.

The synthesis of Graphene is critical to achieving its functions in practical applications. Different methods have been used to synthesis graphene, but graphite exfoliation is considered the simplest way to produce graphene and graphene oxide. In general, controlling the synthesis conditions to achieving the optimum yield, keeping the pristine structure to realize on-demand properties, minimum layers with the smallest lateral size, and minimum oxygen content are the most obstacles experienced by researchers.

The mechanism as well the stereochemistry of cascade cycloisomerization of 15–membered triazatriacetylenic macrocycle was investigated theoretically by using M062X/6–31+G(d,p) and M062X/LANL2DZ calculations. The results showed that the mechanism and outcome of the reaction depended on the absence and presence of a transition metal catalyst. So that, in thermal-induced condition, the reaction had to experience several suprafacial concerted reactions including Ene-reaction (DG# =35.38 kcal/mol), Diels–Alder cycloaddition (DG# = 17.16 kcal/mol), and sigmatropic H-shift rearrangement (DG# = 56.

Trees such as Populus are planted extensively for reforestation and afforestation. However, their successful establishment greatly depends upon ambient environmental conditions and their relative resistance to abiotic and biotic stresses. Polyphenol oxidase (PPO) is a ubiquitous metalloproteinase in plants, which plays crucial roles in mediating plant resistance against biotic and abiotic stresses.

This paper presents a new result on delay-dependent exponential stability for nonlinear linear systems with interval time-varying delay. By constructing a set of improved Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals combined with Wirtinger-based integral inequality, a new delay-dependent condition is established in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) which guarantees that the system is exponential stability.

This paper deals with the problem of exponential stability for singular systems with interval time-varying delays. By constructing a set of improved Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals combined with Newton-Leibniz formula, a new delay-dependent condition is established in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) which guarantees that the system is regular, impulse-free and exponentially stability.

This paper deals with the problem of exponential stability of two-dimensional (2D) discrete-time systems with mixed directional time-varying delays. By constructing an improved 2D Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional candidate some new delay-dependent condition for the exponential stability of the system are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs).

The learning active subnetworks problem involves finding subnetworks of a bio-molecular network that are active in a particular condition. Many approaches integrate observation data (e.g., gene expression) with the network topology to find candidate subnetworks.

In this paper, we investigate the existence and uniqueness of fuzzy solution for a class of general hyperbolic equations with state-dependent delays. We will prove the well-posedness of problem doesn’t depend on the domain and boundary data as well as initial data. Our method is based on Banach fixed point theorem in completely new weighted metric space.

In this paper, the problem of exponential stability for a class of nonlinear neutral systems with interval time-varying delay is studied. Based on improved Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals combine with Leibniz-Newton’s formula, new delay-dependent sufficient conditions for the exponential stability of the systems are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which allows to compute the maximal bound of the exponential stability rate of the solution.

Regions within solid tumours often experience oxygen deprivation, which is associated with resistance to chemotherapy and irradiation. The aim of this study was to evaluate the radiosensitising effect of gemcitabine and its main metabolite dFdU under normoxia versus hypoxia and to determine whether hypoxia-inducible factor 1 (HIF-1) is involved in the radiosensitising mechanism.

The gut micro flora plays vital role in health status of the host. Human physiology and nutrition are greatly affected by the majority of microbes living in the gut. The most dominant phyla, making up to 90 percent of the total microbial population in humans are Bacteroidetes and Firmicutes followed by Actinobacteria Proteobacteria, Tenericutes, and Verrucomicrobia.

This paper examines the statistical relationship between banks’ return on equity on one hand, and their size (as measured by inflation-adjusted total assets) and capital structure on the other, using uses a set of panel data collected by the first author in 2014. The empirical approach applied allows for heterogeneity across observational units as well as nonlinearity and non-additivity in the conditional mean function, thus facilitating the identification of more complex forms of structural dependence that might remain undetected when using classical linear regression techniques.

Adverse stress exposure during the early neonatal period has been shown to cause aberrant development, resulting in an increased risk of adult disease. We tested the hypothesis that neonatal exposure to lipopolysaccharide (LPS) does not alter heart function at rest condition but causes heart dysfunction under stress stimulation later in life.

Inferring the cause of errors for a scalable, accurate, and complete constraint-based data cleansing
In real-world dirty data, errors are often not randomly distributed. Rather, they tend to occur only under certain conditions, such as when the transaction is handled by a certain operator, or the weather is rainy.

The hierarchy between FDs, CFDs, and ARs has many benefits: algorithms for discovering ARs can be adapted to discover many other types of data dependencies and further generate a reduced set of dependencies. In this paper, we give some remarks and improvements related to the unified hierarchy for FDs, CFDs and ARs.
