Assessment of water quality variations due to operation of wastewater treatment plant in Ca Mau city
The wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in Ca Mau city, which is being planned for construction, will be responsible for treating domestic wastewater with a capacity of 8,000 m3 /day. After being treated by the physic-biological method, the plant’s wastewater will be discharged into the Thong Nhat canal and the Tac Thu river.

Tensegrity is a structural system constructed of tensile cables and compressive bars. This thesis proposes several general methods for creating tensegrity structures. The author has developed new methods for creating specific tensegrity cells and the corresponding computer code. Furthermore, the author has constructed various physical models to validate the methods. A proposal for an observation tower on top of the Eureka building in Melbourne has also been devised by the author.

The thesis is devoted to constructing and evaluating versions of the SM extended with an A4 symmetry to explain some of the problems of neutrino physics. Within these extended models, the results on neutrino masses and mixing, derived by the perturbation method, are very closed to the global fit. In two models, a relation between the Dirac CPV phase and the mixing angles is established. In particular, the models predict Dirac CPV phase δCP and effective mass of neutrinoless double beta decay jhmeeij in good agreement with the current experimental data.

In practice, the location of riverside water intakes is chosen based on land-property considerations rather than strict design criteria. For power plants intakes, abstraction efficiency is directly affected by the uniformity of flow distribution within the intake structure. The intake structure of South Helwan Power Plant (SHPP) is located downstream a Groin Like Formation (GLF) at the right bank of the Nile River, South Cairo, Egypt. A new supersymmetry is proposed for hadrons containing a single heavy quark. This supersymmetry is based on a new approximation to those hadrons, which we would consider as a further step beyond the spectator light diquark model of baryons. The heavy diquark effective theory is constructed by the techniques introduced in a different context by Georgi and Wise [1] and by Carone [2]. This theory can be incorporated into a supersymmetric theory together with Heavy Quark Effective Theory, and leads to a common universal Isgur-Wise function for mesons and baryons.

The electronic phase diagram of strongly correlated systems with disorder is constructed using the typical-medium theory. For half-filled system, the combination of the linearized dynamical mean field theory and equation of motion approach allows to derive the explicit equations determining the boundary between the correlated metal, Mott insulator, and Anderson insulator phases. Our phase diagram is consistent with those obtained by the more sophisticated methods.
