In this paper, we use the variable precision method on approximate operators of the FRS model to expand measures to effectively evaluate attributes on noisy datasets. The main contributions of this paper include: Proposing new approximation operations to extend VPFRS to VPOFRS; proposing some measures based on VPOFRS to evaluate the consistency degree of the decision table and the dependence degree of the attribute.

Congenital heart disease (CHD) affects ~ 1% of live births and is the most common birth defect. Although the genetic contribution to the CHD has been long suspected, it has only been well established recently. De novo variants are estimated to contribute to approximately 8% of sporadic CHD.

Ebook "The non-ergodic nature of internal conversion: An experimental and theoretical approach" investigates the transitions from one electronically excited state to another. Such processes - the fastest of events in chemistry - can be studied with femtosecond resolution, and Thomas S. Kuhlman approaches the question both with experimental and theoretical methods. His approach contributes to explain processes of high importance to all scientific fields concerned with the interaction between light and matter: the deactivation of the electronically excited states after excitation.

Genetic factors play an important role in hearing loss, contributing to approximately 60 % of cases of congenital hearing loss. Autosomal dominant deafness accounts for approximately 20 % of cases of hereditary hearing loss. Diseases with autosomal dominant inheritance often show pleiotropy, different degrees of penetrance, and variable expressivity.

Peanut is one of the major source for human consumption worldwide and its seed contain approximately 50% oil. Improvement of oil content and quality traits (high oleic and low linoleic acid) in peanut could be accelerated by exploiting linked markers through molecular breeding.

Radon is a natural source of radiation that contributes approximately 50 % to the public dose. Therefore, it is very important to assess and minimize the impact of radon on human health. In this study, we determined radon concentrations in groundwater samples in Phu Hoi Commune, Ductrong District, Lamdong Province by using the liquid scintillation counter of ALOKA LSC 6100.

Food waste is a significant environmental and economic problem with more than one-third of all food grown for human consumption lost or wasted. Food and beverage purchases contribute to approximately one-third of Australian foodservice businesses’ operating expenses, yet most businesses do not know how much food they waste. Further, research has not determined whether the act of measuring waste influences its creation.

Cowpea (Vigna unguiculata (L.) Walp.) is the most important food and forage legume in the semi-arid tropics of sub-Saharan Africa where approximately 80% of worldwide production takes place primarily on low-input, subsistence farm sites. Among the major goals of cowpea breeding and improvement programs are the rapid manipulation of agronomic traits for seed size and quality and improved resistance to abiotic and biotic stresses to enhance productivity.

Quantitative red blood cell (RBC) traits are highly polygenic clinically relevant traits, with approximately 500 reported GWAS loci. The majority of RBC trait GWAS have been performed in European- or East Asian-ancestry populations, despite evidence that rare or ancestry-specific variation contributes substantially to RBC trait heritability.

In India, fish and shellfish production in 2017-18 from capture fisheries and aquaculture being around 12.6 million tons of which the state Assam contributed approximately 2.6 % to the total production of India. There has been a tremendous increase in fish production, from 1.58 lakh tons in 2000-01 to 3.27 lakh tons in 2017-18.

This paper contributes an efficient denoising method for low-dose CT images. A noisy image is decomposed into three component images of low, medium and high frequency bands; noise is mainly presented in the medium and high component images. Then, by exploiting the fact that a small image patch of the noisy image can be approximated by a linear combination of several elements in a given dictionary of noise-free image patches generated from noise-free images taken at nearly the same position with the noisy image, noise in these medium and high component images are effectively eliminated.

Transcription factor (TF) binding site specificity is commonly represented by some form of matrix model in which the positions in the binding site are assumed to contribute independently to the site’s activity. The independence assumption is known to be an approximation, often a good one but sometimes poor.

The average fatty acid (FA) composition of canola oil is made up of 62% oleic acid (C18:1n9), 19% linoleic acid (C18:2n6), 9% linolenic acid (C18:3n3) and 7% saturated FA (SFA). We investigated whether boreal climate (7.5-17.2 C) favorably altered the FA composition of canola. Results indicate that canola cultivated in boreal climatic conditions had approximately twice the levels of omega-3 FA (17-20%) compared to canola from other growing areas (9%).

Plants colonized terrestrial environments approximately 480 million years ago and have contributed significantly to the diversification of life on Earth. Phylogenetic analyses position a subset of charophyte algae as the sister group to land plants, and distinguish two land plant groups that diverged around 450 million years ago – the bryophytes and the vascular plants.
