This study aims to evaluate the effect of different fertilizers on the growth and essential oil productivity of coriander and sand ginger in Vietnam. Nutritional parameters including total N, total P, total K, humus and organic matter concentrations of the cultivated soil samples were suitable for the growth and development of crops.

Coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.) is grown as a spice crop all over the world. A few articles have linked the consumption of coriander to certain liver diseases but several articles have disputed these assertions and the consumption of coriander has been on the increase. This study aimed to determine the effects of oral administration of coriander on hepatocellular carcinoma in rats in order to compare biochemical findings with histological findings.

The obtained results showed that the microclimate affected planting date in the studied region which indicated that planting in the first third of December improved plant traits as significantly produced the heaviest weight of 1000 seeds, fruit yield/plant and /fed (1923.77 kg/fed).

Isoquercitrin is a flavonoid chemical compound that can be extracted from different plant species such as Mangifera indica (mango), Rheum nobile, Annona squamosal, Camellia sinensis (tea), and coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.). It possesses various biological activities such as the prevention of thromboembolism and has anticancer, antiinflammatory, and antifatigue activities. Therefore, there is a critical need to elucidate and predict the qualitative and quantitative properties of this phytochemical compound using the high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) technique.

A field study was carried out in Horticulture Research Farm, I.G.K.V. Raipur (C.G.) during rabi season 2007-08.The results indicated that vegetative growth contributing characters (leaf area index , fresh and dry weight per plant were influenced by combination of 100%K and 75% NP along with Azotobacter, Azospirillum and PSB (T8). Yield contributing characters (like number of seed per umbellet, 1000-seed weight (g), total no of seed per plant (g) and seed yield (q/ha) maximum in (T8) were given better performance respectively over all the treatments.

Plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) are a wide range of root colonizing bacteria with the capacity to enhance plant growth by increasing seed emergence, producing lytic enzyme and bacteriocin. Soil or seed application of PGPR have been used to enhance growth of the several crops as well as to suppress the growth of the plant pathogens. The pot experiment was conducted during winter season to find out the effect of three plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) either singly or in combination on vegetative growth parameters of coriander seedling.
