  • In this study, we propose some solutions to enhancing the performance of the Vietnamese seafood industry through a deep dive into factors contributing to the capital efficiency of listed seafood companies during one decade, from 2011 to 2021. We found that current assets and working capital efficiency play a significant role in direct capital efficiency. Financial leverage decreases the return of shareholders. We recommend three leading solutions based on the empirical findings: tightening cost management, adjusting capital structure, and increasing value-added business investment.

  • Jasmine is one of the major commercial flower crops of south India. In Karnataka, jasmine has been cultivated in all most all districts. Hence, the study have been taken up by to examine the cost and returns structure of jasmine cultivation, identifying the marketing channels, assessing the marketing cost and to document the problems of production and marketing of jasmine in Koppal district. Thus, the data have been collected from 120 jasmine growers, 10 commission cum wholesale agent and 10 from retailers with the help of pretested well designed questionnaire.

  • The study was taken up to estimate the cost and returns of briquette production in Tamil Nadu. Structured interview schedule was used to collect necessary data from the briquette production unit. Total cost of briquette production was found to be Rs 3441 per tonne. In which fixed and variable cost was Rs 341 per tonne, Rs 3100 per tonne respectively. Gross returns of briquette production were Rs 4700 per tonne.

A sample of 240 farmers was selected using random sampling method and the data was collected through personal interview method. Tabular analysis was employed for analysing the data.
