The tassel fern, Huperzia squarrosa, is a rare and medicinally valuable plant known for containing Huperzine A. It propagates naturally through spores, rhizomes, cuttings, and clump division, but with a slow multiplication rate. This study aimed to optimize propagation conditions for H. squarrosa using stem cuttings and in vitro culture techniques to support its preservation and development.

This research develops a rich theoretical and empirical understanding of embeddedness by way of three dimensions (structural, relational and cultural), and investigates its implications for actors’ value co-creation behaviours and value-in-context outcomes. In addition, the research refines co-creation perspectives by examining a central boundary condition of co-creation processes. The data was collected in an online service environment and was analysed using structural equation modelling techniques.

Objectives of the study: Survey of biological activity of alkaloid isolated from hairy roots of E.longifolia to find new activities. Determining optimal culture conditions for E.longifolia hairy roots to grow and develop. Determining the concentration of three elicitors (Salicylic acid, Jasmonic acid and Yeat extract) on the production and accumulation of alkaloids isolated from hairy roots of E.longifolia in vitro.

Optimazize the in vitro Ngoc Linh ginseng lateral root culture and multiplicate the root biomass is more stable and higher in bioreactor system. Determine and evalute the effect of different types, and concentrations of five elicitors (SA, JA, ABA, CHN và YE) on producing saponin compounds. Next, combine in various types of elicitors to enhance effectiveness of the saponin accumulation, and determine the best elicitation time to develop the highest saponin in LRs of Ngoc Linh từ ARs in vitro.

The objective of the study was to find the explant resources, the type and concentration of plant growth regulators (PGRs), as well as the in vitro culture conditions suitable for different morphogenesis processes - callus induction, direct embryogenesis, shoot and root formation, etc. The growth and development of in vitro Ngoc Linh ginseng derived from thin cell layer (TCL) was examined in Quang Nam to assess the adaptability of in vitro Ngoc Linh plantlets in its natural territory, compared to those growing in Bidoup - Nui Ba National Park, Lam Dong.

The general objective of this thesis is to develop a framework for transition of financial statements from Vietnamese Accounting Standard (VAS) to Intrenational Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) for Vietnamese companies. It is necessary to identify and measure factors that affect in transition of IFRS financial statements in the conditions of economic, political, cultural and social of Vietnam.

PhotobacteriumphosphoreumIFO13896 emits light strongly when cultured in medium containing 3% NaCl, but only weakly in medium containing 1% NaCl.It is known that dim or dark mutants appear frequently and spontaneously from this parent strain. To confirm that riboflavin biosyn-thesis is stimulatedwhen theluxoperon is active, the amount of light emitted and flavins synthesized under strongly or weakly light emitting conditions was determined.

We have isolated and characterized a second [Fe]-hydro-genasegene fromthegreenalga,Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. TheHydA2gene encodes a protein of 505 amino acids that is 74% similar and 68% identical to the known HydA1 hydrogenase fromC. reinhardtii.HydA2 contains all the conserved residues and motifs found in the catalytic core of the family of [Fe]-hydrogenases. We demonstrate that both theHydA1and theHydA2transcripts are expressed upon anaerobic induction, achieved either by neutral gas purging or by sulfur deprivation of the cultures. ...

Human colon adenocarcinoma cells (HT29-ATCC) and the clone HT29-5F7 were cultured under conditions that differentiate cells to a polarized intestinal phenotype. Differentiated cells showed the presence of junctional complexes and intercellular lumina bordered by microvilli. Intestinal brush border hydrolase activities (sucrase, aminopeptidase N, lactase and mal-tase) were detected mainly in differentiated HT29-ATCC cells compared with the differentiated clone, HT29-5F7.

In this research, the growth and metabolic activities of Saccharomyces cerevisiae immobilized in alginate gel during alcoholic fermentation with different initial glucose concentration were studied. Starting from initial glucose concentration at 140 g/L, we observed that increasing this concentration to 220 g/L had little effect on the growth of immobilized yeast. Under the same conditions, the maximum biomass, glucose uptake rate, and final ethanol concentration obtained in the immobilized yeast cultures were always higher than those in the free yeast cultures....

Tea tree is historically the oldest cultivated. Swiss botanist Candolle (1788-1881) classified into types A tea that is already planted over 4000 years . Green tea originates from China and has become associated with many cultures in Asia from Japan and South Korea to the Middle East. Recently, it has become more widespread in the West. Botanical evidence indicates that India and China were among the first countries to cultivate tea.
