This paper focuses on the correlation of two different marble units from an approximately 3,900 m deep geothermal exploration well (GP-1) in western Turkey by petrographical and geochemical data. Future geothermal exploration drilling in that area will benefit from a better (tectono) stratigraphic correlation and a better definition of the reservoir geometry in the basin. It is an innovative approximation in many settings to correctly correlate marble units without clear stratigraphic markers or fossil record, in particular, when sample material is restricted to cuttings.

An experiment was carried out to study the effect of different packing and storage conditions on vase life of cut carnation cv. Kiro. In India, there is a need for a small scale sugarcane harvesting machine which can be used by small and marginal farm holders. The present work has been taken to develop a suitable harvesting machine/ attachment which can be power tiller attached and operated by a multi -purpose tool carrier; for the small and marginal farmers. A 15 hp mini tractor operated 4-row automatic onion transplanter was developed to transplant onion seedlings raised in hexagonal shaped (honeycomb) paper pot chain of length 800 mm, width 180 mm and depth 40 mm. The rotary zero-till-slit tillage and seeding machine were developed for zero-till seeding in straw fields after grain combine harvester's operation.
