Data and methodology

The article discloses methodological approaches to quantifying the level of penetration of block chain technologies into the regional socioeconomic environment in comparison to the supply chain strategies. Based on the methods of mathematical and statistical analysis, it allows you to formalize and convert a large array of data of a qualitative order into a single scale for measuring the process under study - the level of demand in the regional socio-economic environment for block chain technology.

The research design adopted to address this problem utilised mixed data collection methodologies. In order to determine what was happening in the industry as a whole, a specially designed survey was conducted utilising both web-based and traditional paper-based instruments. This provided valuable quantitative data about the rate of uptake, types of companies and so on. To complement this, a focus group of selected representatives within the industry was conducted to delve more deeply into motivations behind the decision to adopt the technology and the perceived benefits derived from it.

"Doctoral thesis of Philosophy: Empirical analysis of stock return synchronicity comparison of developed and emerging markets" is divided into eight chapters. Chapter two contains a literature review and chapter three explains the methodology and the data used in the thesis. Chapters four, five and six use the three different synchronicity measures in an analysis of emerging and developed markets. This research examines how parametric loudspeakers may be considered unique acousmatic musical instruments; how the parametric acoustic array (PAA) can potentially make new forms of music and listening experiences; and how PAA-design problems can be overcome. Interdisciplinary in nature, the study uses grounded theory and experimental music practice within a design research methodology. Theory emerges from data, in concert with analysis and framing that draws on areas such as electroacoustic music, spatial composition, acoustics, PAA science/theory, modulation theory, and medium theory.

The thesis investigates the nature of this developmental process by employing a constructivistinterpretive research methodology and using qualitative research methods. The empirical data was drawn from group discussions and face-to-face interviews with two distinct cohorts of women. The first cohort comprised twenty-two participants, of which five were adolescent women aged fourteen to sixteen years. The thesis focused only on examining those women who were financially successful and not others.

The present study investigates teachers‘ perceptions of the values of the CEFR, the perceived readiness and necessity of its application, and the work involved in its application process. Also, it explores teachers‘ responses to the use of the CEFR to renew the general English curriculum, reflected in how they changed their teaching activities, adapted the assigned textbooks and modified their assessment practice. The study was a case study applying the mixed method sequential explanatory model (Creswell & Clark, 2007).

The triangulated data results are surprisingly revealing in many essential aspects of vocabulary instruction, ranging from selecting vocabulary, teaching vocabulary directly and indirectly, explaining vocabulary meanings, teaching vocabulary through skills in various teaching phases in class. Hopefully, the findings of the study have provided an insightful understanding of vocabulary teaching practices in the primary school settings in Vietnam. From these empirical findings, relevant implications are suggested for better vocabulary instruction to young learners in Vietnam.
