Có 2 dạng thông số về truyến đường trong BGP: Well-known: mandatory (origin, as-path, Next-hop...), Discretionary ( local preference, atomic aggregate...). Option : Non-transitive ( MED, Cluster-list…), Transitive (Communities…). - Các Tiêu chuẩn lựa chọn tuyến đường tốt nhất trong BGP.
