  • DSM is a set of tools and practices taken by utilities to influence the amount and/or timing of customers’ energy demand in order to use electricity most efficiently. DSM decreases the cost of meeting customers’ energy needs through increased investment in enduse energy efficiency and load management. Demand-side resources can reduce or postpone investment in generation, transmission, and distribution capacity, and decrease fuel consumption, and improve environmental quality.

  • This paper illustrates the scheme of integrating of photo-voltaic (PV) system as distributed generation to micro-grid. PV system is integrated to grid with three-level inverter and five-level cascaded H-Bridge inverter to invert the type of supply synchronized to grid. Inverter will be controlled with simple current control strategy. Results were presented for the proposed work considering cases like DG sending only active power and DG injecting both active and reactive power through three-level and five-level inverter topologies.

  • This article investigates the impact of renewable energy consumption and natural resource depletion on environmental degradation from 1990 to 2014. The analysis of this study is distributed into three parts, developing country analysis, developed country analysis and complete sample analysis. An insignificant relation has found between natural resource depletion and environmental degradation in the case of complete sample analysis and developing country analysis, but vica-versa in developed countries.

  • This study was conducted on renewable energy production in 27 European Union member countries explores its impact on employment. In the study, panel ARDL test was conducted with the data for the years 2006-2019. According to the results of the study, renewable energy generation has a positive effect on employment in European Union countries in the long term. In the long run, a 1% increase in renewable energy primary production increases employment by 0.08%. Increasing the use of renewable energy resources should go beyond being a policy recommendation in international conventions.

  • In the present paper, the stability of inverter-based microgrids is considered. A decentralized state-feedback control approach for inverter-based microgrids with a linear matrix inequality (LMI) stability condition is proposed. Controller gains for inverters are designed by solving the LMI optimization problem. The resulting controller stabilizes the system, guaranteeing zero steady-state frequency deviations.
