In each period, highlight theories and findings are presented and explained with note to the antecedents of OC and the changes in these antecedent factors. The semiwild population of Northern Bald Ibises (Geronticus eremita) at Birecik, Turkey, are the final representatives of the Eastern population of the species in the Middle East, apart from a few captive birds in Turkish zoos. This study took place between 2012 and 2015. Breeding is highly synchronized among the colony and incubation behavior was monitored for multiple nests throughout the day. Differences were found when incubation duty period was examined according to sex. In 2013, the incubation period varied significantly between males and females (F = 71.059, P < 0.001).

This paper focused to examine the interest-rates response specified by the Bank of Indonesia’s (BI) to the world crude oil prices and foreign rate of interest. It examined monthly data which ranged from the period of August 2004 to November 2019. The difference equation model was employed for this estimation. The test findings indicated that there was a direct response of the rate of interest specified by BI to the world crude oil price and foreign rate of interest. The rate of interest retained by BI rose (fell) by 0.124% in response to each 1% rise (decline) in the world crude oil price.

The aims of this study were to compare risk factors for each unfavorable surgical outcome according to two different definitions of “unfavorable” surgical outcomes after surgery for lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS) as well as compare the clinical course from the preoperative period to 3 years postoperatively between cases with favorable and unfavorable outcomes according to the two different definitions.

A study was carried out to evaluate the hepatoprotective property of Alternanthera sessilis in CCl4 induced hepatotoxicity in rats. A total of 36 Wister rats were selected for the purpose of study, segregated into six different groups having six numbers of animals in each. Group T1 was kept as negative control and fed standard basal diet for a period of four weeks. Group T2 was kept as positive control and subjected to CCl4 plus liquid paraffin (50% v/v) treatment at the rate of 2ml/kg body weight twice a week for three weeks.

The present investigation was undertaken to study the effect of elevated temperature and increased CO2 levels on biochemical and hormonal parameters of Tharparkar and Karan Fries heifers. The experiment was carried out in a climatic chamber. The animals of both breeds were exposed at different temperature and CO2 levels. Exposure conditions of 250C, 400 ppm CO2 level and 60% RH was taken as control condition.

Biology and bionomics of Cheilomenes sexmaculatus on Lipaphis erysimi was investigated under laboratory conditions during 2013. Biology of C. sexmaculatus on Lipaphis erysimi revealed the presence of four instars, which lasted for of 7.16 ± 0.99 days. The eggs hatched within 1–3 days. The total life span of male and female were 16.44 ± 1.19 days and 22.04 ± 2.42 days, respectively. The mean pupal period lasted for 5.88 ± 0.73 days. The fecundity of the female was 323.52 ± 24.80 eggs / female.

During the study period (July to December 2016) a total of 188 samples (sputum and blood from each person) have been tested in the National Reference Laboratory (NRL) at the Institute of Chest and Respiratory Diseases / Baghdad. These cases are considered as suspected pulmonary tuberculosis. This study for these 188 suspected specimens declare that, 103 (54.78%) cases were positive using direct assay (AFB smear microscopy) and 85 (45.21%) were considered to be negative cases by smear microscopy.

The aim of this study was to determine the selection of bedding material used in broiler birds during the rearing period. Total 72 broiler chicks of IBL-80 were used on a completely randomized design in four treatments of deep litter materials i.e. wheat straw, rice husk, mustard stalk and sand. A total of 18 Murrah buffaloes of 1st to 3 rd parity were selected to study the effect of Body Condition Score (BCS) in milk production, milk composition and reproductive performance of lactating Murrah buffaloes. The field experiment was conducted during the kharif seasons of 2013 and 2015 at ZARS, University of Agricultural Sciences, Gandhi Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bengaluru on red sandy clay loam soil to know the influence of periodical staggered nipping and spacing on Botrytis disease infestation and quality of castor. Nipping and different spacing’s in castor significantly influenced the disease incidence and castor oil yield. Periodical staggered nipping leaving one spike in each branch recorded lower Botrytis disease scoring (2.71) and chaffiness (6.43 %) as compared to non-nipping treatments.
