The Asian region as an economic powerhouse gains more importance every year: the population is becoming more affluent and the role of its markets is increasing on a global scale. This article analyzes the level of economic development of Asian countries. To determine the said level, the corresponding indicators were used, among them, GDP and GDP per capita, exports and imports, key partners in trade relations, the Economic Complexity Index, and the Logistics Performance Index.

Additionally to a regression model for predicting the average annual world prices for steel, this article assesses the economic efficiency of using weak coking coals in ferroalloy manufacturing. This study also explores the relationship between supply chain management and production cost considered a key factor in supply chain management. The factors influencing price behaviour are the capacity of the world metallurgical plants and the price for coking coal.

In theory, the integration of Kano Model and SERVQUAL into Quality Function Deployment is to remove the assumption of linear and to offer innovative input. Kano Model characterizes attributes for product or services based on the level of customer satisfaction towards the attributes. Indirectly it can facilitate SEVQUAL to determine level of priority to the improvement process required by the organisation based on certain categories requested, in which this is going towards into the improvement of customer satisfaction.

In this paper, the latest technologies of the insurance and funded section of old-age pension financing in the Russian Federation are discussed. For this purpose the supply chain strategies and new technologies effects were considered on the economic performance of companies. The modelling of the funded section of the pension for people with different incomes has been implemented. The advantages of new technology in comparison to the existing procedure of old-age pension financing were presented.

This article substantiates the need to strategize food markets’ development in the region as components of the region's reproduction cycle of food products by using supply chain management. The authors suggest two approaches in terms of this development in the region. Within the framework of the product-territorial approach, strategies have been defined for the development of markets for individual food products in order to activate internal sources of forming product supply.

The prime goals of the current paper investigate the influence of SCM practices on organizational performance with moderating roles of ‘governor’ and ‘collaboration. Indonesia has a big potential in collecting zakat funds. The demography of Indonesia which has majority Muslim community is a condition that giving big chance to develop and manage this zakat funds. Providing empirical evidence, this study is intended to examine the effects of zakat on macroeconomic performance in Indonesia. The analysis technique of vector auto regression was chosen to show the illustration of the dynamic relationship between each variable.

The purpose of this study is to study the features of material flow accounting for the efficient supply chain management, to determine the effective systems of material flow accounting. We propose to use the MFCA system to account for material flow. It can be used to estimate material losses in the supply chain in terms of money and determine the economic benefits of resource efficiency. The MFCA methodology is regulated by the ISO standard.
