  • The purpose of the study is to develop evaluation methodology and evaluate agro-industrial territorial-economic systems that have a significant production potential of agricultural sectors in the regions of the Russian Federation. The author justifies the choice of indicators and evaluation criteria. The study was based on economic and mathematical modeling of empirical spatial data, calculated on the basis of official statistical information within the Russian Federation regions.

  • The researcher specifies the relation between the latent and observed variables and inter-correlation is allowed between all the factors. This research is based on proposing and evaluating the model based on the association between internal and external collaboration, IT capability, and performance of a firm. The study results in important implications, which are important from managerial and theoretical perspectives.

  • — In the past, Good - Dominant logic said that customer could not evaluate the enterprise resource. But nowadays, according to Service - Dominant logic, the customer can determine the enterprise resource through the process of using service to decide which of the supplier to work. This study investigates the relationship between enterprise resources and service value; and the relationship between service value and customer loyalty by using qualitative research methods and quantitative research methods.

  • The internal control system of commercial banks has become increasingly meaningful in the stable and sustainable development of the national financial system over the past time. In order to evaluate of internal control systems in the practical application of Vietnamese commercial banks, the authors conducted empirical research with 382 experts of most commercial banks in Vietnam. The results show that the internal control system of commercial banks has certain effects but still some shortcomings in each component.

  • The MOE of concrete was measured at 3, 7, 28, 60, and 120 days. Experimental results were then compared to the MOE obtained using the empirical equation from ACI 318 - 2008. It was found that the experimental MOE of both OPC and GPC specimens was higher than the estimated MOE values from ACI standards. The added sodium sulfate yielded a significant effect on the MOE of OPC but produced a minimal influence on the MOE of GPC.

  • This approach provides a unified framework for leveraging the ability of the Transformer’s self-attention mechanism in modeling session sequences while taking into account the user’s main interest in the session. We empirically evaluate the proposed method on two benchmark datasets. The results show that DTER outperforms state-of-the-art session-based recommendation methods on common evaluation metrics.

  • In an empirical study, CombinedTL is evaluated in each process of the materialized model on real data sets. Experimental results have confirmed that CombinedTL is more effective than the others with higher Accuracy and F-measure values. This also implies that to some extent, the feasibility and applicability of our model can be taken into consideration in practice to provide appropriate information for decision making support on in-trouble students.

  • The portfolio-balance approach to exchange rate determination is part of the Asset Market Models and is largely attributed to economists after 1973 when the exchange rate became flexible (market determined). This article first introduces the setting of the model embedded in the portfolio balance approach that encompasses two assets (money and bonds), which deviates a little from the models and approaches used for the monetary approach to the balance of payment, the overshooting model, and from the associated market equilibria.

  • Renewable energy is replenished on a human timescale. The concern for the use of renewable energy is growing across the globe due to depleting nonrenewable sources and various environmental issues. We construct a model of sustainable development to demonstrate the causality and co-integration between Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) inflows and renewable energy consumption. We consider data of select 43 countries for the period from 2005 to 2017 and apply panel data analysis.

  • This study employed meta-analytic procedures to evaluate the potential validity of a model of planned organizational change. Hypotheses derived from this model focus on the relationships among planned change interventions and three classes of organizational variables, assessing work settings, individual behavior, and organizational outcomes. The aggregated results of 52 evaluations of planned change interventions were largely consistent with the hypotheses, providing considerable support for the model as a whole. Recommendations are made for future research on organizational change evaluation.

  • In this paper we re-evaluate the capital immobility hypothesis of Feldstein and Horioka (1980) for the case of the European Union and the Eurozone, based on long-run regressions. We employ the Long Run Derivative proposed by Fischer and Seater (1993) in order to examine capital mobility as a longrun phenomenon. In order to enhance the robustness of our results we also perform panel causality tests on our data as it is a common approach in this setting. Our empirical findings provide no evidence in favor of the capital immobility hypothesis.

  • In water resource management the main basic requirement is the estimation of runoff resulted from precipitation. In present study, runoff from Chaskaman catchment estimated using different empirical methods such as Inglis and DeSouza formula, Khosla’s formula, Coutagine relationship, Department of irrigation India, and Strange’s table method. Hydrological data such as observed daily runoff of 15 years (2000-2014) was collected from Superintending Engineer, Department of Irrigation, Government of Maharashtra, Pune.

  • This paper examines the derivation of a capital-structure EBIT-based call option expression with the El Ibrami and Naciri [2012] equity value as the underlying asset. The model’s PDE and ODE are similar to Black-Scholes but have widely different and non-constant coefficients. An empirical analysis of the new model is conducted to measure its performance, using the last close price of the evaluated stock options and the Black-Scholes values as benchmarks. The results show that the author’s model is robust, whereas the Black-Scholes model overestimates the stock options.

  • This study contributes to solving the problem of an aging population by providing important information that determines feasible annuity payments for the homeowners of reverse mortgage products and by promoting the implementation of mortgage loans. From the empirical analysis, we demonstrate that demand for reverse mortgages recently took a big jump after the 2008 global financial crisis because housing prices gradually declined, which generated home equity conversion preferences in the United States. This study also examines loan-level reverse mortgages and presents a number of findings.
