Factors affecting income

Critically ill children require close monitoring to facilitate timely interventions throughout their hospitalisation. In low- and middle-income countries with a high disease burden, scarce paediatric critical care resources complicates effective monitoring. This study describes the monitoring practices for critically ill children in a paediatric high-dependency unit (HDU) in Malawi and examines factors affecting this vital process.

The role of employees is vital for service businesses. Therefore, maintaining employee satisfaction plays a significant role in the performance of service companies. The topic shows a comprehensive picture of the level of job satisfaction of officers and employees working in the commercial banking system in Ho Chi Minh City through 09 aspects of satisfaction. Regression results of the study prove that job satisfaction in the aspect of “Communication of information” has the most substantial impact on the “General satisfaction” of employees.

The study aimed to determine factors affecting the decisions of individuals to deposit in their accounts at the VietinBank branch in An Giang Province. In this study, a questionnaire was prepared and used to investigate 250 individuals who have or have not done transactions at the An Giang branch of VietinBank. The estimated results derived from the Probit model showed that the deposit decision is largely governed by the deposit interest rate, quality of customer services, business location, promotion, and individual’s level of education, age and income.

In this study, financial performance is assessed through three indicators ROA (return of assets), ROE (return of equity), NIM (net profit margin). Based on previous domestic and foreign studies, the research has selected a suitable model for Vietnam with 08 factors affecting financial performance including bank size (SIZE), equity to total assets (CAP), operating expenses to operating income (CIR), risk provision (RISK), bank age (AGE), fixed assets to total assets (TANG), gross domestic product growth rate (GDP) and inflation rate (INF).

The ability of farmers in the village's economic life is very varied and tends to be in a weak position, especially in terms of saving skills. This study aims to determine the influence of socioeconomic factors on the ability to save, pull, and push elements of farmers to keep and resource savings fund farmers. This research is a case study in Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatera, where 60 people from 312 populations of paddy rice farmers were sampled purposively.

The article aimed to find out the main factors affecting trade finance activities in order to give out reasonable measures to enhance the activities, which generate “fee income” - the majority of non-interest income for the bank. By the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) method, the results showed that the diversification of services, especially UPAS L/C, has had the greatest positive impact on promoting trade finance.

The study analyses the factors that influence consumer decisions on purchasing organic agricultural products in Hanoi. By synthesizing previous research, the authors establish Ordinal Logistic Regression (OLR) through survey questionnaires for 300 consumers in Hanoi in March 2018. The empirical model shows that there are eight factors, which have significantly positive impacts on the consumer decisions to purchase organic agricultural products.

This study used data from companies listed on Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange to investigate the factors impacting on audit fee. The data consisted of a sample of 110 listed companies in 2018. The result indicated that some factors significantly impact on audit fee including Corporate Governance (CG), BIG4 audit firms, Total Assets, and Time. Some other factors did not affect on audit fee include TobinQ and Industry.

The study surveyed 90 grapefruit farms in Phuc Ninh commune, Yen Son district, Tuyen Quang province and adopted a number of economic research methods to evaluate and analyze factors affecting the economic efficiency of grapefruit production. This study sheds light on self-selected loan groups formed under a microcredit group-lending program and estimates how and the extent to which post-determined group-related factors reflecting the group atmosphere and rivalry among the group members affect the economic achievements of the loan users. Based on data from Maharashtra State, India, this study finds that social homogeneity and monitoring among members work as building blocks to increase the household income of a loan user, while fairness and frequent meetings with other members work as stumbling blocks.

This study was conducted to find out the factors affecting the decision to export labor of rural workers in Phu Tho province relying on the data set of 142 observations are those who are studying at the labor export center at Hung Vuong University - Phu Tho province. The analytical results are based on descriptive statistical methods, comparative methods and regression analysis, which shows why workers choose to export workers abroad, especially in Japan market because the country brings high income and many opportunities to work overtime compared to other countries.
