  • The present paper provides a case study of rice farmers in the Muda granary area, which covers the states of Kedah and Perlis, using primary data to identify the factors on the adoption of PEP among farmers. The research findings indicate that the key factors determining the farmers’ adoption of the PEP are age, secondary jobs, effective communication with the extension agency, increased rice yield, lower operating cost, lower working time in the fields, and support services, such as assistance, incentives, and facilities from the government.

  • The concept of vocational training in agriculture through KVK grew substantially due to greater demand for improved agricultural technology by the farmers. The study was carried out in Tlangnuam block of Aizawl District of Mizoram. The Tlangnuam block was purposively selected because of large number of farmers’ participation in KVK’s training programme. For the selection of respondents, a list of ginger trainees of KVK during preceding three years (2016-17 to 2018-19) was prepared. Out of 210 trainees list, only 60 farmers were randomly selected from KVK adopted villages of Tlangnuam block.

  • The present study was conducted to know the knowledge of dairy animal owners in animal breeding practices a field survey in Surat district (Mahuva, Mandvi, Umarpada and Mangrol talukas. From each talukas three villages (60 cattle owners) were selected to take the observation related to the study. The present study revealed that majority of dairy farmers were belonged to middle to old age group, educate up to primary and secondary level, marginal to small land holdings, rearing animals up to 10.

  • The present study was carried out during 2018-20 in Jaswantnagar block of Etawah district. Five villages and 120 respondents were selected randomly and data were collected through personal interview method. Collected data were analyzed by using appropriate statistical methods for the interpretation at data. It was found that majority of respondents (58.67%) had medium level of adoption followed by (33.34%) had lowest level of adoption followed by (16.67%) respondents had high level of adoption regarding Bio-fertilizer.
