"Standard Specification for Steel Wire, Chromium-Silicon Alloy" covers round and shaped chromiumsilicon alloy steel spring wire having properties and quality intended for the manufacture of springs resistant to set when used at moderately elevated temperatures. This product is not meant to be used for non-static applications involving moderate fatigue stresses (see Specification A1000/A1000M) or high cycle fatigue applications (see Specification A877/A877M).

In this paper, the hot spot stress approach recommended by the International Institute of Welding (IIW) has been applied to estimate fatigue life of fillet welded structures for the chassis frame of semi trailer, which was locally manufactured in Vietnam. The combined method of the finite element analysis (FEA) and the multi-body dynamic simulation (MBDS) is proposed for structural analysis.

This study explored the causal relationships between independent factors (individual factors, stroke characteristics) and post-stroke mental health issues through physiological and behavioral mediating factors. The study design is cross-sectional with a total of 162 stroke survivors treated at Vietnam's National Geriatric Hospital between June and December, 2021.

The objective of this research is to study the effect of onset of physical fatigue/stress during isometric and dynamic contractions based on the changes in physiological signal i.e. SEMG. Therefore, the intention of this present investigation is to assess the repeatability of common muscle fatigue measures, including amplitude and spectral measures of EMG and further, to determine the adequacy of different measures in detection of onset of localized muscle fatigue.

This study presents a numerical investigation of fluid-structure interaction about sodium leakage accident at prototype fast breeder reactor Monju. The dynamic forces of sodium liquid flow acting on the thermowell are the main cause of fatigue failure, which leads to the occurrence of thermowell cracking due to intense stresses and high fatigue-cycle.

Bone stress fractures are overuse injuries commonly encountered in sports and military medicine. Some fatigue fractures lead to morbidity and loss of active, physically-demanding training days. We evaluated the incidence, anatomical location, risk factors, and preventive measures for fatigue fractures in young Finnish male conscripts.

Exercise seems to minimize prostate cancer specific mortality risk and treatment related side effects like fatigue and incontinence. However the influence of physical activity on the immunological level remains uncertain. Even prostate cancer patients undergoing palliative treatment often have a relatively long life span compared to other cancer entities.

Fatigue curve presents the relation between stress (mean stress, maximum stress or stress amplitude) and the number of stress cycles till a machine element is completely broken. This curve is served as the important basis of design as well as lifetime prediction for machine elements. In order to create a fatigue curve, the traditional fatigue test method is applied to specimens using a cyclic stress with constant amplitude.
