FFT method

In this paper, we propose a method that uses the non-uniform Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to compensate for Doppler frequency shifts in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) based underwater acoustic (UWA) communication systems. To estimate the Doppler frequency shift, the paper proposes using a pilot carrier frequency (PCF) that is identified by transmitting with greater power in the frequency domain compared to other subcarriers.

The present paper derives numerical bounds of the elastic properties of polycrystals. The homogenized elastic coefficients are computed from Voronoi-type unit cells. The main result of the article detemines the upper and lower bounds for a case of polycrystals made up of cubic single crystals by using the fast Fourier transform method (FFT) based on the shape function.

In this thesis, the two systems are simulated with particular parameters and the performance of Bit Error Rate (BER) is evaluated to determine the different types of wavelets in various channel conditions with separate modulation methods (8, 16, 32-QAM). Article introduces the Fast-Fourier transformation method (FFT) and an approximation method to calculate the conductivity of compound-inclusion composites in two-dimensional space. The approximation compares favorably with the numerical results for a number of periodic and random models over a range of volume proportions of phases, but divers at large volume proportions of the included phases when the interactions between the inclusions are more pronounced.

In this paper, we present the rapid method for determining the depth distribution of a sedimentary basin by combining the FFT-based and space domain techniques in gravity data interpretation. The method is tested on two 3D synthetic models which density contrast is constant and exponential variation with depth. Then, the method is applied to determine the depth distribution of Nam Con Son sedimentary basin in Vietnam. The obtained results coincide well with theoretical models and seismic data. The computation speed of the method is much faster than that of space domain technique.
