  • This research investigates the impact of financial leverage on investment activities of Vietnamese enterprises by utilizing panel data regression with data collected from 98 companies listed on the Vietnam’s stock market from 2015 to 2022.   • The article "Financial leverage, firm value and moderating role of grow opportunities: Vietnamese listed firms" examines the effect of financial leverage on firm value and the moderating role of firm growth opportunities in Vietnam. The study utilizes a sample of Vietnamese firms listed on Vietnam stock exchanges between 2010 and 2020. Employing various estimation approaches such as pool OLS, FEM as well as REM models, the results show that financial leverage has a positive effect on firm value (Tobin’s Q).

  • The real estate is a fast-growth and dynamic industry. Firms that operate in this field need capital. The purpose of this research is to reinforce the capital structure of firms listed on the stock exchange in Indonesia. This study uses a multiple linear regression analysis technique. The analysis revealed that profitability, growth and leverage are negatively related to capital structure. The conclusion is that firms have to reinforce their capital structure, to control profitability and operation.

  • In this study, we propose some solutions to enhancing the performance of the Vietnamese seafood industry through a deep dive into factors contributing to the capital efficiency of listed seafood companies during one decade, from 2011 to 2021. We found that current assets and working capital efficiency play a significant role in direct capital efficiency. Financial leverage decreases the return of shareholders. We recommend three leading solutions based on the empirical findings: tightening cost management, adjusting capital structure, and increasing value-added business investment.

Performance is the ability of management to control firms’ resources to gain competitive advantage. Among the internal organisational factors that affect firms’ profitability is financial leverage which is the firms’ capital structure framework.
