The article examines the impact of capital structure (CS) on financial performance (FP) of hotel firms. A sample size of 72 of 3 - 5 star hotel firms in Hanoi city, Vietnam in a period of 3 years from 2016 to 2019 has been taken to analyze. Firm FP is measured by ROA, ROE, ROS.

Research findings have demonstrated a statistically significant negative correlation between profitability, growth, and liquidity and the capital structure measured by the debt ratio. Although it also decreases with non-debt tax shields, this variable does not have statistical meaning with the dependent variable. Size is the only variable with a positive correlation coefficient, but no statistical significance was found either. The results of the study can help these firms build a reasonable capital structure to enhance their intrinsic value.

This study assesses the relationship between board independence and board size on the business performance of state-owned enterprises in Vietnam. With a dataset of 50 state-owned enterprises listed on the stock market during the period from 2016 to 2020, the research employs Ordinary Least Squares (OLS), Fixedeffects, and Random-effects regression models to examine the relationship.

The study result shows that the relationship between technological capability and manufacturing performance is significant and positive. This study proved there is a connection between the variables. Further investigation is required to understand the impact of technological capability on manufacturing performance and to understand deeper the influences of differences by size of firms and industry characteristics.

The outcomes of this study are useful for firms adapting ERP as they would be able to strategize future ERP system implementation in different sectors, such as education, and large firms in general. One limitation of the study is its small sample size. Moreover, the author has not included other measures of medium sized enterprises performance outside of the procurement area despite these factors could provide further insights to medium sized enterprises performance, and will be an interesting topic for future research.

This study signifies the relationship between social sustainability of suppliers and its impact of supplier’s financial and social performance. It also focuses on the supplier firm reputation and the role it plays between sustainability and performance. Methodology: Using survey method, a questionnaire has been developed by past studies and a group of experts and academics. In depth interviews were also conducted from managers related to social sustainability to develop constructs for the survey. With the emerging trends in supply chain management, this research aims in providing the effect of supply chain contributors including partnership, collaboration and integration on financial performance of SMEs in Thailand. It also examine the mediation impact of supply chain performance between these strategies and overall financial performance of these firms. Questionnaires were designed to obtain required information from the manager, representatives and key members of SMEs in Thailand. The sample size selected is 334. The collected information is analyzed using SPSS and AMOS.

The purpose of this article is to study the factors affecting the quality of audit services of financial statements of enterprises listed on the Vietnamese stock market by independent auditing firms. The study was carried out with an audit of the financial statements of 825 enterprises listed on the Vietnamese stock market. The research results show that a number of factors have a significant influence on the quality of the audit of financial statements, such as the size and reputation of the audit firm, the tenure of the audit firm, and the auditor independence.

Previous studies examining the relationship of foreign investors and form performance produced inconclusive finding. These studies assumed that a linear relation exists between foreign shareholdings and firm performances. This study examines the relationship between foreign ownership and firm performance of trading and services listed firms in Malaysia. The research utilizes the agency theory and uses ROA and Tobin’s Q as the firm performance indicator. Foreign shareholdings had been identified as the predictor variables and firm size and leverage are the controlled variables.
