This model is the combination of SWARA (Stepwise weight assessment ratio analysis) and FVIKOR (VlseKriter ijumskaOptimizacija I KompromisnoResenje) methods which evaluate the main criteria’s based on evaluation of factors that have major impacts on quality of suppliers, and selects the best suppliers according to the criteria’s.

Hanoi, the socio - economic center of Vietnam, where the demand for water supply usage is always the highest compared to other cities in the country. In order to support decision-makers in sustainably managing the water supply system for the capital (HUDWSS), this study applied the fuzzy hierarchical analysis process to build a sustainable hierarchy water supply framework based on the current satisfaction from the communities.

Currently, solid waste management approaches have been modified into a more practical and effective option to establish sustainability. Practical implementation of SWM has demonstrated that scientific evidence is needed to support decision - making to enhance the sustainability of SWM systems.
