This presentation will introduce the smart urban formation process with ideas and operational models. At the same time, we will introduce a smart city rating system based on the role of urban government and the community; thus, we will find the existing and building of the development orientation. Finally, we will present a case study to applying smart city model in Hanoi capital, Vietnam in the trend of sustainable development in the future.

The article examines the impact of capital structure (CS) on financial performance (FP) of hotel firms. A sample size of 72 of 3 - 5 star hotel firms in Hanoi city, Vietnam in a period of 3 years from 2016 to 2019 has been taken to analyze. Firm FP is measured by ROA, ROE, ROS.

The study examines the impact of intellectual capital on the sustainable growth of food and beverage companies in Vietnam. Research data includes food and beverage enterprises listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange and the Hanoi Stock Exchange for the period of 2018 - 2022. The regression analysis results show that intellectual capital has a significantly positive effect on the sustainable growth of businesses in the industry.

This research aimed at evaluating the student’s satisfaction level (SSL) in education quality at Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF), a leading university for generating high-quality human resources in the field of forestry of the country. The study examines the effect of financial leverage and dividend payments on firm value using a sample of 29 listed real estate firms from the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) and the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX). By employing the Ordinary Least Square (OLS), Two-stage Least Square (2SLS), and Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) estimation methods, we obtain robust evidence of the positive effect of leverage and dividend distribution on real estate sector corporate value.

This article reports on a study of high school students in Hanoi. The author surveyed 600 students from 10 high schools to assess levels of environmental awareness including environmental knowing, concerning and applying. Independent variables included region of school, and the gender of students. Although there are no region and gender differences in environmental awareness, the mediating relationships are found.

The study aims to identify the capital structure determinants of the listed construction firms in Vietnam. The determinants of capital structure are factors affecting firm financial leverage, including firm profitability, size, growth rate, fixed assets, liquidity, interest coverage and state ownership. The study is based on a data of 74 listed construction firms in the Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange over the period 2014-2018. It is found that listed construction firms in Vietnam have high level of financial leverage and mainly rely on short-term debts.

This paper investigates the determinants of capital structure of business start- ups utilizing simultaneously a survey of business owners’ characteristics and data collected from financial reports submitted to the taxation authorities of 268 newly established enterprises in Hanoi. This paper attempts to find empirical evidences of the factors affecting capital expenditure of non-financial listed companies on the Hanoi Stock Exchange. The paper uses data from 190 non-financial listed companies on the Hanoi Stock Exchange from 2010 to 2017. By using General Method of Moments (GMM), the results of the study showed that the free cash flow and company size have positively effect on capital expenditure while interest expense and depreciation expense have negatively effect on capital expenditure of non-financial companies listed on the Hanoi Stock Exchange.

The study aims to identify the factors affecting citizen satisfaction with the quality of public administration services in the Hanoi capital. The study surveyed 475 citizens who are using public administration services at State administrative agencies. The results of regression analysis identified five factors: facilities; publicity and transparency; assurance; responsiveness; reliability affecting citizen satisfaction with the quality of public administration services in the Hanoi capital.
