The research aim is to improve of students‘ pronunciation skills using phonetic transcription. In order to achieve the aim, the study followed these following steps: identifying difficulties of the students in pronouncing vowel sounds, planning the action, implementing the action and evaluating the improvements of the students after using phonetic transcription.
