This study investigated the different factors influencing the repayment of agricultural credit in Jobner branch of Rajasthan Marudhara Gramin Bank. For this purpose, purposive sampling was adopted and 50 borrowers were selected from the list of defaulter borrowers from the branch. Through the pre-tested schedules, necessary informations were collected from the defaulters as well as from the bank employees regarding actual causes behind overdues. Finally data were summarized using descriptive statistics.

120 SHG members from 12 SHGs of Haorangsable and Wangoi block of Imphal-West district of Manipur were studied. Majority of the respondents were of middle age, married, belonging to general caste, living in nuclear and small family, having low education and residing in „Pucca‟ houses with „service‟ as their primary occupation while SHG is the secondary one, possessing less than 1 acre of land with semi-medium to low level of social participation and extension contact; possessing negligible land and household possession were mostly above Rs. 1, 00,000.

The present study was conducted in four villages of Kesla and Hoshangabad blocks of Hoshangabad District. For household income and food & nutritional security through women empowerment and to find better performance among the narmada nidhi and local non descript (ND) breed, 25 female and 5 male birds of each breed are distributed to 10 women’s of each 4 village in these 2 blocks for backyard rearing.

Some of the fruits like Guava, pomegranate, lemon, acid lime, mandarin etc., give various flowering flushes throughout the year if left without any treatment. This paper examines the relationship between unexpected earnings components (i.e., unexpected operating and non-operating income) and post-earningsannouncement drift to determine whether both components contribute to the mispricing phenomenon. I find that both operating and non-operating income surprises explain the market’s underweighting of earnings surprises. However, the contribution of operating income surprises is significantly higher than non-operating income surprises.

Economics of paddy relay sunhemp system was studied in comparison with economics of paddy-fallow system. Farmers of the Nacharam (V), Khammam (D), Telangana state are generally keeping the land fallow after harvesting kharif paddy due to water scarcity resulting in no income during rabi. As an alternative to the paddy-fallow system, farmers of the Nacharam (V), Khammam (D), Telangana state were educated by the scientists of KVK, Wyra under “National Innovations in Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA)” project to grow sunhemp as a relay crop after kharif paddy i.e., paddy-sunhemp system.

Our stylized model generates several empirical hypotheses about the insurance offer decision. Firms in industries where labor turnover rates are high do not tend to offer insurance. Premium rigidities will be most pronounced in such industries.
