The fitting curves demonstrate that the Hybrid model produces closer trend so better describing the actual data. Via our study with Vietnam Index, it is confirmed that the characteristics of ARIMA model are more suitable for linear time series while ANN model is good to work with nonlinear time series. The Hybrid model takes into account both of these features, so it could be employed in case of more generalized time series. As the financial market is increasingly complex, the time series corresponding to stock indexes naturally consist of linear and non-linear components.

Highly tensile manganese steel is in great demand owing to its high tensile strength under shock loads. All workpieces are produced through casting, because it is highly difficult to machine. The probabilistic aspects of its casting, its variable composition, and the different casting techniques must all be considered for the optimisation of its mechanical properties. A hybrid strategy is therefore proposed which combines decision trees and artificial neural networks (ANNs) for accurate and reliable prediction models for ore crushing plate lifetimes.

In herein presented work, the relation between number of ES iterations and convergence of the whole GPA-ES hybrid algorithm will be studied due to increasing needs to analyze and model large data sets. Evolutionary algorithms are applicable in the areas which are not covered by other artificial intelligence or soft computing techniques like neural networks and deep learning like search of algebraic model of data.
