On that basis, some specific characteristics about the flow regime of this river basin also have been identified.

Soil water in the coastal zones is more vulnerable to salinization. Soil-water vulnerability assessment is an effective tool for soil-water management. This study used the DRASTIC model, which is based on seven factors viz: Depth to soil water, recharge, soil-water bearing layer, soil media, topography, impact of root zone, and hydraulic conductivity to evaluate soil-water salinization potentiality of Ben Tre province.

This study has established and calibrated a three-dimensional system model with a combination of hydraulics-waves and suspended sediment transport with measured data in the study area. Based on the calculated scenarios for the flood and the dry seasons, the results show the occurrence of MTZs in the riparian zone of the Mekong river with typical suspended sediment concentrations (SSC) ranging from 0.04–1.0 kg/m3 dry season and 0.2–1.1 kg/m3 flood season.

This study aims to explore the transmission of pollutants from the domestic wastewater of the Rach Tram - Phu Quoc eco-urban project. To achieve this, the Ecolab module of the Mike model is employed. The dispersion of pollutants is influenced by both hydraulic and wind conditions. Notably, under southwest wind condition, the dispersion of pollutants is considerably more pronounced compared to that observed during the Northeast monsoon.

This paper gives an illustration of using the computational fluid dynamics approach to investigate the movement of the solution inside the hand-washing chamber. The numerical results obtained from the numerical simulation demonstrate the hydrodynamic values, streamlines, and density of the solution. The ability to predict the handwashing chamber's hydraulic and cleaning performance efficiencies is essential for evaluating the operability and improving the further design.

This study applied an integrated surface water-groundwater (SW-GW) model, SWAT-MODFLOW to study interaction of surface and groundwater than simulate saltwater intrusion at a regional scale in Da Nang coastal city. Model components were calibrated and validated using monthly river flow data and hydraulic head data for the 2005-2020 period and showed good agreement with observed data.
