Here, we systematically investigated the structure and magnetic properties of Fe3O4@CoFe2O4 core/shell NPs. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) confirmed the formation of Fe3O4@CoFe2O4 core/shell NPs.

  • The study of microstructure shows no obvious change of grain size and shape. The magnetic properties of the as-prepared samples show the linear magnetic field dependence of magnetization, suggesting the antiferromagnetic feature of polycrystalline ceramics. The field dependence of magnetization measured after two-years synthesis and after applying an electric field reveal a decrease of maximum magnetization but the hysteresis loops retain the antiferromagnetic behavior.

  • Pure BiFeO3 (BFO) and Bi1-xHoxFe0.97Ni0.03O3 (x = 0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.075, and 0.1) materials were synthesized by a sol-gel method. The influence of (Ho, Ni) co-doping on structural, magnetic and electrical properties of BFO materials were investigated by different techniques as X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy dispersion X-ray (EDX), Raman scattering, magnetic hysteresis (M-H) loops, and complex impedance spectra measurement. XRD results showed that all samples were crystallized in the rhombohedral structure with R3C space group.

  • The magnetic properties and domain structure of (CoFeB/Pd)n (n = 2  10) multilayers prepared by DC magnetron sputtering with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy have been investigated systematically. The study has been carried out by using vibration sample magnetometer (VSM) and magneto-optical Kerr effect (MOKE) microscope. The results show clear changes of magnetic hysteresis and domain structure when increasing the number of bilayer (n) from 2 to 10.

  • This work pointed out the preparation of a magnetic glass–ceramic in the system Fe2O3–ZnO–CaO–SiO2. The base composition was designed to crystallize about 60% magnetite. The influence of adding TiO2, Na2O and P2O5 separately or as mixtures was studied. The DTA of the glasses revealed a decrease in the thermal effects by adding P2O5, TiO2 and Na2O in an increasing order. The X-ray diffraction patterns showed the presence of nanometric magnetite crystals in a glassy matrix after cooling from the melting temperature.

  • LaFeO3 system with doped Ti, Co, Cu was manufactured by solid state reaction method, it was sintered at 12500C and 12900C in 10 hours with a heating rate of 3 0C/min. Using X-ray diffraction and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) to examine the structure, it reveals that samples are single-phase and orthogonal-perovskite structure describing by the Pnma space group, the unit cell volume of the samples increases when Ti, Co, Cu are doped to replace ion Fe+3.

  • The results also showed that the formation of cobalt ferrite spinel structures is affected by synthesis methods. Both prepared techniques were effective for the production of spinel crystalline nanoparticles.
