The research was conducted retrospectively from a case study of an AQF Level 6 Textile, Clothing and Footwear Training Package Program at RMIT University TAFE. An Action Research approach underpins the investigation, resulting in the profiling of teaching, learning and assessment as areas in need of further examination. These defining themes are explored in the context of the Project Based Learning model developed at RMIT, with consideration given to the potential for broader application. The discussion concludes with a theoretical review of the new understandings of pedagogy.

The primary aim of this research was to further develop the sensing and estimation module of the CHMS framework with an improved multimodal inference model of MWL as needed for the application in aerospace CPHS. The present study investigates teachers‘ perceptions of the values of the CEFR, the perceived readiness and necessity of its application, and the work involved in its application process. Also, it explores teachers‘ responses to the use of the CEFR to renew the general English curriculum, reflected in how they changed their teaching activities, adapted the assigned textbooks and modified their assessment practice. In this thesis, the author focussed on providing an application framework to be used in brain segmentation - the process of tumor detection. This constitutes setting up software bundled into a Window machine which is easily distributable. Moreover, a segmentation algorithm was implemented and tested using the provided software. In order to test the bundled software by implementing specific brain segmentation from the literature, the author used CT scans freely available from the database of 108 Central Military Hospital.
