The process of neural stem cell (NSC) differentiation into neurons is crucial for the development of potential cell-centered treatments for central nervous system disorders. However, predicting, identifying, and anticipating this differentiation is complex. In this study, we propose the implementation of a convolutional neural network model for the predictable recognition of NSC fate, utilizing single-cell brightfield images.

In recent times, the phase field method is a robust simulation tool that can predict crack formation and propagation in structures. In brittle and quasi-brittle materials, the strain tensor is decomposed into negative and positive parts corresponding to the compression and tension behaviors when the structure is loaded.

The scope of this work is threefold: (i) to develop a new model within the framework of hydro-mechanical – damage coupling that can account for the coupling between microcrack (damage), water diffusion and shrinkage at stake for concrete secondary creep; (ii) to implement it in an existing hydro-damage lattice model; (iii) to validate the model with respect to the flexural creep of Fiber Reinforced Concrete (FRC) and Mortars under high sustained load level.

This paper proposes and implements a model combining Zalo and end-toend encryption to apply in digital transformation. The main idea is to promote the strengths of the Zalo social network to exchange information and manage work but ensure information confidentiality for both the server and man-in-the-middle attacks based on the end-to-end encryption model.

The implementation duration of road work is critical as it impacts both the cost and outcome of the project. The article examines the techniques used to determine the time required for the completion of road work projects. It explores the approach to estimating the duration of road work projects in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) based on the ROCKS database created by the World Bank.

Manufacturing organizations spend lot of money and time to implement ERP thinking that after implementation, it will lead to increase in work efficiency. However, in most cases, ERP implementation results in a high failure rate. Most research has focused on the critical success factors (CSF) for ERP implementation, whereas factors such as success measures, benefits of ERP and the factors responsible for successful implementation in Indian manufacturing sectors has been discussed by very few researcher.

The purpose of this paper is to study the characteristics of competitiveness in firms’ sectors of the Greek manufacturing industry, based on firm level accounting and qualitative data attempting to identify key issues regarding Greek SMEs. An unbalanced data set of 407 Greek manufacturing SMEs is implemented, covering the period of 2003-2011 with the use of a multivariate regression model (EGLS) with explanatory variables characterizing firms’ operational activity.

Magnetic bearing systems have received much attention in the research community for the past decades. Its inherent nonlinearity and open-loop instability present challenges for controller design. This thesis investigates and designs model predictive control (MPC) systems for an experimental Active Magnetic Bearing (AMB) laboratory system. A host-target development environment of real-time control system with hardware in the loop (HIL) is used for implementation of the predictive control systems. In this thesis, both continuous and discrete time model predictive controllers are studied.

Model Predictive Control (MPC) refers to a class of algorithms that optimize the future behavior of the plant subject to operational constraints. The merits of the class algorithms include its ability to handle imposed hard constraints on the system and perform on-line optimization. This thesis investigates design and implementation of continuous time model predictive control using Laguerre polynomials and extends the design approaches proposed in to include intermittent predictive control, as well as to include the case of the nonlinear predictive control.

Master's thesis of Education: Implementation of project based learning in a training package context
The research was conducted retrospectively from a case study of an AQF Level 6 Textile, Clothing and Footwear Training Package Program at RMIT University TAFE. An Action Research approach underpins the investigation, resulting in the profiling of teaching, learning and assessment as areas in need of further examination. These defining themes are explored in the context of the Project Based Learning model developed at RMIT, with consideration given to the potential for broader application. The discussion concludes with a theoretical review of the new understandings of pedagogy.

The investigation using of a dominant qualitative to a Less-dominant quantitative approach as a mixed-method strategy revealed the importance of the CIT Model realised through the CTIO (Concern-Task-Interaction-Outcome) Problem-Solving Cycle. The CTIO Cycle is a variant form of the traditional Deming-Shewhart PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action) Cycle.
