The objective of the study was to estimate the own- and cross-price elasticities of imported melons into China differentiated by exporting country. The demand system of imported melons into China was estimated using a source-differentiated Linear Approximation of the Almost Ideal Demand System (LA-AIDS).

Exports has played an important role in economic growth in most countriesand territories. The article uses a panel data regression model to analyze the growth of ten provinces in Red River Delta (Vietnam) in the period 2005-2020. The research result shows that there are factors that positively affect the economic growth of Red River Delta, including investment capital (variable LnI), labor (variable LnL), exports (variable LnEx) and price index (variable CPI).

Trade and world economic integration are seen as the impetus for accelerating the well-beings of the domestic Vietnamese communities and international community in the region. The data was analysed using simple descriptive statistical tools. The Brexit vote in the UK raised doubts and uncertainties across all of the European Union and especially the Irish agri-food sector, which exports over 41% of its products to the UK. In this study we will explain that the Brexit brings an uncertainty that affects decision making. Agri-food business owners are not completely aware of how this event can affect their business and what they can do to be prepared to face it. Through interviews we will be able to demonstrate that the Irish farmers need to be more proactive and could use some guidance.
