PPOS (Progestin-Primed Ovarian Stimulation) has shown efficacy in preventing early luteinization and improving outcomes in infertile women. However, data among those with poor ovarian response (POR) are limited. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of PPOS protocol on the chance of success throughout the IVF process in patients with POR (POSEIDON group III & IV) undergoing IVF/ICSI in Vietnam.

CD13 (APN) is an Alanyl-Aminopeptidase with diverse functions. The role of CD13 for gliomas is still unknown. In this study, data of glioma patients obtained by TCGA and CGGA databases were used to evaluate the survival rate and prognostic value of CD13 expression level. Protein expression of CD13 was confirmed by immunofluorescence staining of fresh patient tissues.

Cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) play an important role in the tumor microenvironment. Despite the well-known in vitro antitumoral efect of vitamin D3 (VD3), its impact on breast CAFs is almost unknown. In this study, we analyzed the ex vivo effects of calcitriol on CAFs isolated from breast cancer tissues.

In this study, the effect of plant growth regulators (BA and NAA), ripe bananas in combination with potato, humic acid, and silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were investigated to find a suitable condition for in vitro plant regeneration from R. imschootiana protocorm-like body (PLB). The results showed that after 45 days of culture, MS medium supplemented with 100 g ripe banana/liter and 100 g potato/liter was suitable for regenerating shoots from the protocorm-like body (PLB) (17.56 shoots/PLBs and 100.00% of shoot-regenerating PLBs).

This study is the first report on antioxidant activities and chemical composition of S. cambodianum Baill. ethanolic leaf extract. The results showed that ethanolic extract had potent in vitro antioxidant activities in DPPH, ABTS•+ assays (the low concentrations of IC50 were 19.51 ± 0.78 μg/mL and 4.89 ± 0.07 μg/mL, respectively), and in RP, TAC methods (the Abs0.5 were 20.80 ± 0.26 μg/mL and 36.15 ± 1.03 μg/mL).

Cancer is the most destructive and fatal disease, representing an urgent medical challenge to the world. The discovery of a new anticancer candidate may help reduce or eliminate this alarming disease to a greater extent. On similar lines, in silico research was carried out on novel naphthylidene isoxazolidinedione derivatives that were logically conceived, synthesized, purified, and structurally characterized. In vitro biological evaluation revealed the most active compound 4d with an inhibitory concentration of 42.87 μM against K562 and 47.42 μM on A549 cells.

This plant contains natural compounds such as iridoids, naphthalene glycosides, and especially anthraquinones and anthraquinone glycosides. [9,10] Several compositions of M. longissima stems and roots have been reported to inhibit the in vitro replication of the hepatitis B virus. [11,12] Thus, the search for TNF-α inhibitors from the M. longissima plant and their natural constituents, especially anthraquinone compounds, by molecular docking approaches is necessary for the discovery of potential drug candidates for inflammation-mediated diseases.

The melting points of the complexes were >350oC, indicating high thermal stability. Cu-Zn-containing complex showed the least binding energy against the three proteins. The bioactivity scores of the complexes were between -0.50 and 0.0. Against A549 Cu-Zn, Co-Zn and Fe-Zn containing complexes showed potential activity. Against MCF-7, Fe-Cu containing complex had IC50 of 53.5 whereas Co-Zn containing complex was active against HepG2. Three complexes were active against S. aureus in the tested range.

The anticancer activity of this naphthylidene isoxazolidinedione derivative was evident by cell cycle and apoptosis assays, which showed arrest of the G2/M phase (65.6%) of the K562 cells and induction of apoptosis with 21.47% apoptotic cells as compared to 0.2% of untreated cells, respectively.

Eucalyptus is one of the important plant species for paper pulp, fuel wood, and timber. In this study, a hybrid Eucalyptus, U16 line, was investigated for rapid in vitro propagation. The apical and adventitious shoots served as initial explants. These were free-disease symptoms that were collected for surface sterilization.

A large number of studies have demonstrated the wound-healing effects of LLLT in vitro, in animal models, and in clinical practice. However, there are also differences in the study results, which are dose and wavelength dependent of LLLT. Objective: Evaluation of the wound healing process in experimental animals treated with low- level laser therapy in clinical and histopathology.

In the present study, we investigated the expression profile of tDRs in plasma of CRC patients. The results showed that the level of 5′-tRF-GlyGCC is higher in CRC patients than in healthy controls (HCs) and highlighted that 5′- tRF-GlyGCC is a promising diagnostic biomarker for CRC patients. Its expression is positively correlated with ALKBH3 both in vitro and in vivo, respectively.
