After years of working with entrepreneurs, investors, corporations, and institutions, I realized that most people have one or more habits that prevent them from being wealthy. For each habit I have created and tested a counter-habit, hoping that this can help individuals live happier. This is a manifesto for individual people, written to address one person at a time. Why do I call them habits? Habits are transparent .

The aim of this study was to explore and describe the impact of living with a chronic wound and findings indicate that individuals living with a chronic wound are receiving conflicting or inappropriate advice and care. Individuals living with a chronic wound experience a life of uncertainty related to the struggle to endure a wounded body and the layers of professional care they receive.

This thesis explores the problem of wasteful fashion consumption in light of the current need for individuals to develop a sustainable way of living. The Agenda 21 report from the Rio Earth Summit (1992) determined that sustainable consumption is an issue to be addressed in terms of resource conservation, waste reduction and a reduction of production pollutants. To date, in Australia, there are no policies or strategies in place to reduce wasteful consumption from the consumer’s perspective and it is this research and policy deficit that this thesis research addresses.

The thesis is limited to assessing the current situation of access to basic banking products and services of individuals in the Northern Delta provinces, especially those living in rural areas and people with low income. The reason why the Northern Delta was chosen for this research is that this is the region where most people in rural areas earn there living mainly on agricultural activitives, have low income and only can access to basic financial services. The region is more limited than other regions in the country.

The Central Statistics Office has registered increased availability in part-time courses in Ireland over recent years. This study aims to investigate the motivators driving part-time study and the impact studying part-time has on professional and personal lives of full-time employees in Ireland. Utilising a qualitative research approach, data was collected using open ended, semi-structured interviews on six desirable participants and examined using thematic analysis. Extracted information was interpreted and discussed.

In this study, curcumin, a potential anticancer agent, was found to dampen the dynamic instability of individual microtubules in living MCF-7 cells. It strongly reduced the rate and extent of shortening states, and modestly reduced the rate and extent of growing states. In addition, curcumin decreased the fraction of time microtubules spent in the growing state and strongly increased the time microtubules spent in the pause state.
