This paper presents the development of simulated workplace neutron standard fields at the Institute for Nuclear Science and Technology with the 241Am-Be source moderated by polyethylene spheres with diameters of 15 cm and 30cm. The characterization of the standard fields (in terms of neutron fluence rates and neutron ambient dose equivalent rates) was performed using Bonner sphere spectrometer system together with MAXED and FRUIT unfolding codes.

In this study, aerosol samples at Hanoi, Vietnam from February 2017 to January 2018 collected on the glass fiber filter were analyzed for 210Pb by using HPGe spectrometry. 210Pb weekly activity concentrations were in the range of 0.12 mBq.m-3 to 2.87 mBq.m-3 with an average value of 0.92 mBq.m-3 and 210Pb monthly activity concentrations were in the range of 0.99 mBq.m-3 to 9.24 mBq.m-3 with an average value of 4.01 mBq.m-3.

According to the beam transmission matching of the MEBT and the geometric parameters requirements of bunchers, the unique mechanical structure and the main processing technology of buncher cavities and their couplers and tuners are described in this paper. The fabrication of bunchers and their parts have been completed and tested at high power, the test results agree well with the design requirements. These bunchers work well for about two years in Institute of Modern Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

To provide high shunt impendence with low power losses, an 81.25 MHz continuous wave (CW) radio frequency quadrupole (RFQ) accelerator has been designed and machined as parts of the Low Energy Accelerator Facility (LEAF). In this paper, the mechanical structure and the main processing technology of the RFQ cavities are described according to the physical and geometric parameters requirements of the RFQ. The fabrication of the RFQ has been completed and the test results agree well with the design requirements.

This paper presents the verification and validation (V&V) of the STREAM/RAST-K 2.0 code system for a pressurized water reactor (PWR) analysis. A lattice physics code STREAM and a nodal diffusion code RAST-K 2.0 have been developed by a computational reactor physics and experiment laboratory (CORE) of Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) for an accurate two-step PWR analysis. The calculation modules of each code were already verified against various benchmark problems, whereas this paper focuses on the V&V of linked code system.
