In every business there are requirements of the assets and resources. So, the supply chain managing links properly these areas to each other to make the efficiency. These resources can be financial, intangible and physical resources. If the resources are not available for the organization at the time when it require then it might be the reason for degrade of that business. This study is designed using a qualitative approach. A total of 30 entrepreneurs from the three largest Batik industries in Central Java, consist of Lasem-Rembang, Pekalongan and Laweyan Solo has participated in this study. The data collection technique is using observation, interview and some relevant reference such as reports, books and journals. The results of the analysis showed that the intangible assets (intellectual capital) are a strategic way to improve the performance of SMEs.

The aim was to provide an understanding of how these organizations supported personal knowledge registration, and whether winning an award entailed a more comprehensive overview of the knowledge residing in employees. Whether the organizations benefitted financially from the registration process was also examined. This was a qualitative research. It was a multiple-case study, covering 18 organizations in Iceland, of which six had received the Knowledge Company of the Year award.

Canada and Greenland both hunt harp seals from the same population (the northwest Atlantic stock). The Canadian and Greenland governments have been exchanging information on their respective hunts and have agreed to continue such exchanges with the intent of verifying harvest activities and strengthening conservation. Discussions are also underway with Greenland scientists on a possible joint Satellite tagging program to better define seal movements and stock boundaries.
