The article "Static behavior of FGP half-annular nanoplates resting on elastic foundation using nonlocal elasticity theory" presents an algorithm finite element for static bending analysis of the functionally graded porous (FGP) half-annular nanoplate resting on the elastic foundation (EF) using nonlocal elasticity theory. The FGP materials with two-parameter are the volume fraction index (k) and the porosity volume fraction (5) in two cases of even and uneven porosity. The EF includes Winkler-stiffness (k₁) and Pasternak- stiffness (k₂).

They show high-K calc-alkaline affinity. On primitive-normalized spider diagrams, negative anomalies of Ba, Nb, Sr, P, and Ti and positive anomalies of Pb are noteworthy. Their chondrite-normalized REE patterns are characterized by strongly fractionated patterns with demonstrative negative Eu anomaly, whereby middle REE are not fractionated relative to the heavy REE. These geochemical features suggest a fractionating mineral assemblage of feldspar, apatite, and biotite without significant involvement of garnet.

Liquid crystal (LC) compound 4-Benzyloxyphenyl 4-[4-(n-dodecyloxy)benzoyloxy]benzoate (BDBB) was prepared and characterized. Inverse gas chromatography (IGC) was to be a beneficial analysis method for the research of thermodynamic characteristics of the new LC. Acetate and alcohol isomers were used to examine LC selectivity via the IGC technique at temperatures between 333.2 K and 483.2 K.

This paper is concerned with the nonlinear dynamic buckling of sandwich functionally graded circular cylinder shells filled with fluid. Governing equations are derived using the classical shell theory and the geometrical nonlinearity in von Karman–Donnell sense is taken into account. Solutions of the problem are established by using Galerkin’s method and Runge–Kutta method. Effects of thermal environment, geometric parameters, volume fraction index k and fluid on dynamic critical loads of shells are investigated.

The limitation of this model is slip ratio s=1. By modified the slip ratio correlation, the paper focuses on evaluating the HF model. Among the chosen correlations for slip ratio, Smith correlation is the best option for this purpose. The results in our paper showed that while the original Smith correlation with k=0.4 is suggested for horizontal tests, the modified one with k=0.2 could be applied for vertical tests.

The representative soil series of order Entisols, Inceptisols and Vertisols collected from agriculture college Kolhapur and different research stations of Sub-montane zone of Maharashtra were assessed for different forms of potassium and its distribution. The water soluble K contributed very lowest fraction than the rest of all forms of potassium (i.e. 0.23 % of total K). From the mean values higher water soluble K was noticed in Vertisols followed by Inceptisols and Entisols.

An incubation experiment was conducted to study the combined effect of various fertilizer doses and Soil Test Crop Response (STCR) based Integrated Plant Nutrient System (IPNS) on potassium (K) fractions in bahour soil series of puducherry. The incubation experiment was carried out with ten treatments and three replications. The soil samples were drawn at 0th, 40th and 80th day of incubation and subjected for analysis of Water Soluble K, Exchangeable K, and Non Exchangeable K fractions.

Potassium (K) is vital to many plant processes and the knowledge about different forms and availability of potassium is must while studying the response of crops to K. Because Potassium supply to crop plants is a complex phenomenon involving relationships among various K fractions in soil. Potassium is available in the soil in different forms and amount viz., water soluble K, exchangeable K, fixed K and mineral K. Plants utilize not only the readily available K but also the non-exchangeable and mineral K during the crop growth.

The present research study has been conducted with prime objective to investigate the effect of manure and fertilizers on chemical fractions of Fe and Mn under rice-wheat system. Laboratory analysis was made on the soil samples collected (October 2013) from an on-going long-term field experiment (in progress since Kharif2009-10) at Department of Soil Science, PAU, Ludhiana. The organic manure through bio gas slurry (BGS) @ 6 t ha-1 was incorporated along with nitrogen (N @ 80 and 120 kg ha-1 ), phosphorus (P @ 30 kg ha-1 ) and potassium fertilizer (K @ 30 kg ha-1 ) to the rice crop.
