Logistics industry

The study’s main focus is on the factors affecting the financial capacity of logistics service companies. The study is based on a survey of 80 financial professionals and managers from educational institutions and businesses in the industry. The survey content was designed according to the 5-level Likert scale and put into testing the EFA factor discovery model to find out the outstanding factors that affect the financial capacity of listed logistics services companies.

The objectives of study "Using data envelopment analysis (DEA) to evaluate performance the 3PL logistics in Vietnam" are to: Evaluate the performance of 3PL logistics companies in Vietnam, identify the factors affecting the performance of 3PL logistics companies and propose solutions to improve the performance of 3PL logistics companies. The results of this study can provide useful information for 3PL logistics company managers to evaluate their business performance and identify areas for improvement.

This study attempted to address the crucial issues in Indonesian logistic industry and focused on customer relationship management (CRM) to increase the satisfaction level of logistic customers. In this study, customer orientation and technology-based CRM activities are considered to examine the effect on customer satisfaction. Knowledge management is taken as moderating variable. It is found that customer relationship management (CRM) has significant positive effect on customer satisfaction.

The prime goals of the current paper investigate the influence of SCM practices on organizational performance with moderating roles of ‘governor’ and ‘collaboration. The organizational performance was measured on the basis of three dimensions such as economic, social and environmental aspects. The purpose of our research is to study the existing problems in the food supply chain management and to propose a decision-making algorithm for efficient and competitive business development. The study and generalization of theoretical studies in the field of food supply chain management allowed us to identify and formulate the specifics of this industry with the help of the following research methods: selection of logistics intermediaries, forecasting (indicators, flows, etc.), arrangement of nomenclature groups, optimization under risk conditions, statistical methods in data processing.

This paper suggests the balanced approach of the new two-sided group chain sampling plan (NTSGCh) which operates with four acceptance criteria. The lifetime distribution of Log-logistic is used in this study, and the method of time truncated life test simulation is conducted. The findings proved that the NTSGCh performed better than the NTSCoGCh. Therefore, the NTSGCh is a worthy option for implementation in lot inspection in the manufacturing industry.
