In this study, spinel ferrite nanoparticles CoFe2-xLaxO4 (x = 0, 0.025, and 0.05) were successfully synthesized via a simple co-precipitation method using a 5% NaOH solution as a precipitating agent. The physicochemical properties of the materials, annealed at 850 °C for one hour, were characterized using powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and vibrating-sample magnetometry (VSM) at room temperature.

In this work, SrFe12O19 samples were synthesized by hydrothermal method. We systematically studied the influence of an alkaline environment (NaOH) with the molar ratio (R) of 2 , 3 and 4 on the structure, magnetic properties of SrFe12O19 particles prepared by hydrothermal method. The relation between morphology, magnetic properties and microwave absorption properties of materials have been investigated.

Harvesting microalgae by centrifugation and filtration is very costly, affecting technical and economical feasibility of downstream processing of algal biomas to bioproducts. Flocculation is a potential technique for recovery of algae biomass. Particularly, flocculation using magnetic nanoparticles offers high separation efficiency due to their high surface area and magnetic properties. I

The tectonic and structural properties of Erzurum and its surroundings have been investigated by evaluating the seismotectonic b - value, magnetic anomaly, edge detection analysis (total horizontal derivative (THDR) and tilt angle (TA)), Curie Point Depth (CPD), P-wave velocity (Vp), and Vp / Vs (S - wave velocity) ratio and by imaging the regional distributions of these parameters. For this purpose, all parameters have been combined to be able to reveal the new useful results on the study region and are presented for different locations and depths.

In this paper we consider some properties of the SU(2) YangMills theory connecting with scalar o4 theory. In the case when scalar field φ is time independent, we find explicit solutions to equations of motion for corresponding o4 theory. The spatial component of the SU(2) Yang-Mills potential corresponding with this solution is like potential of point magnetic monopole.

In this paper, we present the results of the study of the effect of residual La on crystal structure, magnetic properties of La1+ơFe11.05Si1.95 (ơ= 0.00; 0.03; 0.06 and 0.09) compounds. The analysis of X-ray diffractions showed that when the La content increases to 9, the structure still remains cubic in a typical NaZn13 arrangement with unchanged lattice constant (about 0.5).

Influence of substitution of 3d metals for Mn on properties of La0.67Ca0.33Mn0.9 TM0.1O3 (TM = Fe, Co, Ni) compounds was studied. Ferromagnetic – paramagnetic and metals – insulator transitions were significantly affected by Mn-site substitution. However, no observable difference was found in their crystal structure from X-ray diffraction analysis. At room temperature the structure characterization of these compounds gave the single phase and structure is the distortion orthorhombic cell with space group symmetry Pnma.

In this paper, we present the results of studying magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effect of Fe90-xPrxZr10 (x = 1, 2 and 3) rapidly quenched alloys. The alloy ribbons with thickness of about 15 µm were prepared by melt-spinning method on a single roller system. X-ray diffraction patterns of the ribbons manifest their almost amorphous structure. Thermomagnetization measurements show that the Curie temperature of the alloys can be controlled to be near room temperature by changing concentration of Pr (x).

The Co nanowire arrays were fabricated by electrodeposition method by using the porous polycarbonate template. Study on crystallographic structure, micro structure, and the element composition confirmed the quality of the fabricated Co nanowires. SEM image shows the wires with an average diameter of 200 nm and the average length of 9 m. The magnetic properties, measured at room temperature using vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM), displays that the nanowires have anisotropic property.
