The role of multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) in diagnosing and staging 31 patients with laryngeal carcinoma. Methods: Patients with laryngeal carcinoma were diagnosed at Hue central hospital from February 2019 to July 2020. Patients were clinically diagnosed patients of laryngeal masses, were first evaluated under indirect laryngoscopy, and then sent for Computed Tomography (CT).

Emergency front of neck access (eFONA) is the last resort in the Cannot Intubate - Cannot Oxygenate (CICO) crisis. The presence of an algorithm and a well-trained team have been recognized as being essential in reducing errors to achieve a positive outcome. Work experience is a key factor in hiring decision of managers. However, empirical evidence that early life experience matters is very limited. This thesis fills in the gap by examining how work experience affects managerial performance and managerial style in mutual funds. Using a sample of Chinese fund managers, we find performances and styles vary across managers of different career backgrounds. Notably, managers of research and especially government backgrounds show higher risk adjusted returns while taking on less systematic risk.

The focus of this study is on two of these factors: gender stereotyping and bullying. Gender stereotypes are the beliefs and attitudes that are presumed to distinguish between women and men (Rollero, Glick & Tartaglia, 2014), while bullying can be referred to as the repeated acts of an individual or group with the intention to harman individual holding an inferior position of power (Goldsmid & Howie 2014). While these two separate issues can occur independent of one another and in combination, gender based stereotyping and bullying both form critical barriers to female professionals.

The major focus of this research uses a systems psychodynamic approach to investigate the role taken up by part-time contract managers in an Australian university. These part-time roles frequently fail in the longer term. This approach provides an understanding of the unconscious group dynamics that may cause the role to fail.
