Manufacturing organizations spend lot of money and time to implement ERP thinking that after implementation, it will lead to increase in work efficiency. However, in most cases, ERP implementation results in a high failure rate. Most research has focused on the critical success factors (CSF) for ERP implementation, whereas factors such as success measures, benefits of ERP and the factors responsible for successful implementation in Indian manufacturing sectors has been discussed by very few researcher.

This study utilizes four automated inventory management systems which includes Radio frequency Identification (RFID), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and analyses their role as a supply chain risk mitigation strategy through implication of risk management process.

This study aims to show how analysis of such inventory and their demand popularity could be used to install small batch capacity, applying a make to order policy in the FMCG industry for non-popular items. Supply chain managers may also transfer finished goods and move single units of finished goods from an opened carton between retail outlets and warehouses before applying a make when zero policy to reduce and eliminate such unsustainable practices.

In response to the global financial crisis in 2008, the Chinese government launched a 4-trillionyuan economic stimulus plan, which represented a typical episode of government intervention in the economy. This paper analyzed the impact of the stimulus plan, which mainly took the form of bank credit lines, on resource allocation and aggregate productivity. Using manufacturing data from 2001 to 2013, we showed empirically that it pulled up the total demand in the short term, but by extending excessive credit to weak firms, it created resource misallocation and over-capacity in the long term.
